BAMS is ayurvedic medicine. If you are really interested in learning ayurveda, you should definitely go up. This course covers wide area. The job opportunity after ayurveda is not limited. But more people prefer allopathy than ayurveda. So you should really find a niche to prosper in this field.

BAMS i.e. Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery Comprises of 3 Professional Courses each of 1.5 years that is total course Duration is 4.5 years and also you have to do 1 year of internship. So, Effective duration for BAMS course is 5.5 years.
