The eligibility criteria is

Hi
There's no compulsion of reporting at the same participating Institute (in your case NIT Trichy). You can report anywhere but the institute should be mentioned in the list of all the colleges in JoSAA 2019. To avoid delay and hotchpotch please report at any of the nearest reporting centres.
For more information, do visit the JoSAA 2019 Official Site. Also you can always check the same about JoSAA Counselling 2019 through this link:
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hello aspirant!!
Once you get B.Arch rank then get the rank card and get to know which colleges you are fit for your rank. Meanwhile keep your certificates ready before counseling. Then apply for those colleges through counseling once the counseling dates are announced. After counseling your college will be known and then take admission into the college.
Hope this was helpful :)
Good Luck!!
Thank you.
As per your rank and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get in b.arch are:-

Hi,
No, there is no such limitation that you have to give paper 1 for admission in B.arch.
It totally depends on the student that which exam he/she wants to attempt. Paper 1 is for admission in B.tech and Paper 2 is for admissiion in B.arch.
But, if you are interested in B.arch along with B.tech, then you have to attempt both papers.
You can also read about both papers in detail by following the given link-
