Frankly speaking, 50 percentage of weightage is given to NATA and 50 percentage to boards.
All we can say that if you get above 90 percent in boards try your best to get 115 above in NATA.
Basically Board marks + NATA score /2 in other words the average of the above-mentioned should be above 150 to get admission in the government college of your own state.
All the best
Respected sir,
Sports quota available at some top engineering colleges like VIT, BHU, and JMI is of great benefit to students who are amazingly talented at specific sports and want to pursue those sports at higher levels along with their engineering courses.
As the Indian society is becoming more open to the acknowledgement of the sports skills of students, along with their classroom knowledge, we can see progressive steps like the introduction of sports quota in engineering colleges too. However, this option is only available for such students who have displayed exceptional talent in sports.
Which particular college you are talking about as the placement scenario varies accordingly.
Hi Sai Manoj and thanks for contacting Careers360 to clarify your query.
Now, to secure a seat jnto top IITs one needs to score a rank under 1000 which are IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur.
This translates to getting marks of 300+ for IITs. Majorly B.Arch Admission happens through JEE Mains for all centrally funded institutions and NITs.
A rank of near to 3000 is must to secure seat into top NITs for Architecture. This corresponds to getting 250+ marks.
However, the ranks may vary as per marks on basis of difficulty level of paper, total students appeared who appeared and their Respective performance, and previous year trends.
And, I would always advice you to use Quora, and I have got some good sources here:
Hope these links help you and all the best!
As there are only 2 IITs which offer B.Arch program (IIT KHARAGPUR & ROORKEE) so to secure seat in these institutes you will have to clear Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) and the aspirants who have secured a rank in JEE (Advanced) are eligible to sit for AAT so in order to get a B. Arch course in these two institutions, one has to clear Paper 1 of JEE Main, JEE Advanced and AAT as this is the basic criteria.
Good Luck!!!
There is no entrance for B.Arch program in IPU as the seats will be filled through NATA so you will have to apply for the same first as its registration window is open till 30th-March.
For more information about NATA, you can go through the below link -

In order to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam, you have to appear and qualify for JEE Main paper1, You will not be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced if you have filled the form for JEE Main paper2 (B.Arch).
All the very best and good luck.
