Yes,the fall in percentile and increase in the number of seats affect the admission process but the competition gets more tuff due to decrease in percentile. The average cutoff marks for SC category student ranges between 130-400 marks in NEET exam.The cutoff may differ from college to college.So

1. The difficulty level of exam. 2017 NEET was way to easy, especially the Physics section. Hence, cut-offs were very high.
2. The Category you belong to. General category cut-offs are much higher as compared to cut-offs for reserved categories.
