If I take admission in BDS in BHU in round 1,will I be eligible for mop up round in my bihar state.

DrTeeth 29th Oct, 2020

Yes, you will be eligible, provided you attend all the rounds of counselling in Bihar too. In order to be eligible for the subsequent rounds of counselling. you have to be present at the previous one, or else you will not be considered an eligible candidate. Lets say there are 3 rounds (3rd being the mop up), and even if you attend the 1st round and miss the 2nd, you will not be eligible for mop up round. Make sure not to miss any round.

Hello sir/ mam, I got 561 marks in neet 2020 and my category is General-EWS and i belongs to Bihar my all india rank is 41523 and my category rank is 5121, is there any chances to got any medical colleges in state quota or all india quota? please reply

rajeevanand843 28th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

As you might have an idea that this year cut off gone rise 30-40 marks above then previous year as topper Mark is itself 19 marks above then previous year. As per your marks and category there are almost zero chance to get GMC through AIQ COUNSELING. Even if we talk about bihar state counselling their also you have almost nil probability that you will get in GMC. Last year cutoff for your category in bihar in mopup round was AIR 17237 (567 MARKS). as this year at your marks there is almost double rank then previous year that leave you almost nil chance to grab GMC. you will easily get any private medical colleges in bihar at your marks and rank. You can also try in Kerala and Karnataka for low tution fees in private medical colleges.

You can use our college predictor tool and get probable list at which colleges you can have shot

621marks with aiq 11440 obc Bihar should I get good college through all India quota

Heena GJ 28th Oct, 2020

Hi Rajeev

621 is really good score, you have decent chances of getting seat in good medical college

With this score and category, colleges in Bihar that you have shot :

1. Anugrah Narayan Medical college (cut off score 582)

2. Darbanga medical college (cut off 591)

3. Government medical college (cut off 571)

4. Indira Gandhi Institute of medical sciences(cut off 604)

5. Jawaharlal medical college (cut off 589)

Note:- This prediction is according to previous year's cut off, although cut off varies every year depending upon no of seats available, last year's trends, difficulty level of exam and so on.

But you still have good chances of getting seat.

Hii Sir, I got 561 no. in neet 2020 and i am from Economically weaker section and i belongs to Bihar state can i got any government medical college for MBBS in any mode{AIQ/State Q.} please answer my question.

Anurag Khanna 28th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

On such marks and category you have very low chances of getting any GMCs in Bihar under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 576 for Government Medical College, Bettiah under state quota for General-EWS category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Hey!

Qualifying marks, ranks , cutoffs of various colleges depends on the no. of candidates appeared in the exam, difficulty level and many more factors. But last year Government Medical college Bettiah offered the seat upto 575 marks for obc category so as per your marks you might get seat there, but its not certain as the trend changes every year. you can check out the cutoffs of various college s here:
