Hi Aspirant. You have scored good marks in this entrance exam. But you also know that a tough competition takes place between the candidates to secure a seat in this prestigious university. Seeing your marks and analyzing it with the cutoff , you have very less chance of securing a seat this year. For your better understanding, here is the website which you can check

Dear Muskan,
For your kind information, after taking admission in Gandhi Engineering college, Bhubaneswar it would be really a tough situation for you to take admission in another college like Geeta Engineering College, Panipat because after taking admission through counseling procedure you freeze your seat and get admission in the allotted institute because of that your seat is fixed and your option of choosing another college through counseling process is nullified. The only method is to contact the Geeta Engineering College and ask them about any procedure about admission regardless of counseling.
I hope that it'll help you, best of luck for your further career prospects.
Biotechnology has applications in different areas like healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, recycling, food processing and production. At present it doesn't have huge job opportunities in India. But this scenario will change in the near future. The R&D sector associated with biotechnology sector is well rewarding both financially and career growth-wise. The salary my range around 23000 to 28000 and yes there are job opportunities related to this in Bangalore.
All the best.

Hi anjali,
You have to just apply for the counselling of Karnataka 85%seat and then a merit list will be declared. When you will be asked for document verification at that time you have to show Karnataka state domicile certificate.
And this is the condition if you have state domicile of any state you can apply for that state counselling of 85% quota seats.
For any other information you can ask us.
Hi krithika,
The future of Biotechnology in India isn't so bright.
India's main obstruction for the advancement Biotech is, well, India itself. Biotech is a unique field. It combines the concepts of engineering with Biology. India's administration is yet to grasp the workings of this field, yet alone compete globally in the same. For them Biotech is just like any other engineering field, with a peppering of Biology jargon.
So, yes if you are looking to pursue Biotech, I personally feel you should do your education from outside India as of now. Bachelor's, you can do here if there is some financial strain but ultimately Biotech is more fun if done outside India. That is the ground reality.
Hey Prajwal,
Difficulty of a subject depends upon the perception from one individual to others. The subject is a combination of Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Forensic Science so you need to keep your base very clear. you need to be patient, you will have to work for hours in the lab and you can get negative result, so patience is very much required. you will have to keep on trying and trying till you get desired results.
My intention is that if one is truly interested in the subject, they should definitely go for it.
Hope this helped you.
Thank you and keep asking :)
