There are total 30 no. Of seats in which 7 are reserved for obc category. Cutoff varies every year so it is difficult to tell exact chances. I'll suggest you to wait for counselling letter. Also BHU will release the cutoff merit list along with cutofc rank list so you may also predict your selection chances with that.

For general the cutoffs in aith Kanpur is 183-477. So maybe you won't be able to get in there with your rank. The scheduled caste cutoff was from 858-1076 in 2018.

But Btech biotechnology (lateral) is having cutoffs from 1172-5920.

Both Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Bundelkhand University, Jhansi are good the fee structures are not very different for 4 years BU will cost you 2.68 lacs and AIT will cost you 2.20 lacs. The placement scenario of both the colleges is pretty dull and negligible. You can check reviews about the colleges from the given links -

Various post are like production manager , Junior production manager, production superviser and many more. So average salary starts from 3.7 lacks to 5.9 lacks per year  or it may goes beyond that also.
