Hello Aspirant,
Yes you can study any branch irrespective of the subjects you choose. In OUAT you can choose PCM,PCB and even PCMB and in no way it is going to affect your choice for branch selection. Under PCMB Along with physics, chemistry the best between Mathematics or Biology will be considered for ranking. So you have the option to choose any branch on the basis of your rank.
Hope this solves your issue
Regards!
I would definitely give the college a 4/5 based on my experience.
One of the best engineering colleges in the country. I did my Bachelor's here from 2009-2013 and trust me, I had best experiences of my life here.
The campus is located at the District of Erode in Sathyamangalam. There is nothing about Sathyamangalam except for its natural resources. The forest, flowing rivers, dams are a great places to spend time out of our cellphone-internet-bound worlds. The campus itself is very accurately designed with so much of beautiful trees and plants making it a very nice place to stay and learn.
Moving on to the main purpose, the institution ranks in one among-st the top colleges in India for education. Accredited an "A" grade from the National educational board of India. The labs and classrooms are very well equipped as the staffs are. Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, referred as BIT in the following context, also offers the student classes for the Cambridge University's Business English Certification and officials conduct the exam inside the campus itself. BIT also provided students classes on Japanese, German, Hindi to name a few. Language labs were very modernly equipped helping students from the basic scales of mastering the languages.
Since the campus is not located near an Urban locale, 95% of the student population are hostelers. The hostel rooms are very well spaced and uniquely designed. The sugarcane factory nearby, owned and operated by the same group, provides uninterrupted power. The mess is able to cater all the students and there is a paid canteen available inside for students as well.
Many people may disagree about the standards of BIT being top notch, but from my 4 years of experience there I learnt so much. The standard of the institute is nothing but the premium. The career services are also student-centric and makes the students prepare for their career.
Yes, Sonu you can take admission in B.Tech Biotechnology or BSc Biotechnology. Biotechnology is a highly demanding field in bachelor degree and lots of colleges offer bachelor degree with biotechnology. Search colleges as per your 12th percentage or you can search private college and give the entrance exam of these universities and gain a scholarship.
All the best

Dear Manoj,
that is a nice score and maybe it possible you get NIT
because we know that the demand for Biotechnology is lass as compare to others
but especially in Warangal, it may be difficult because of last year they cut off go petty well
so I suggested that you give a try but not completely depend on it. Make sure you added other NITs
college. So they are a good chance you get it.
Good Luck I hope you get what you want.
Hello aspirant,
There are 30 seats in total for the course M.Sc plant biotechnology. Your rank is very high to make through the college so there seems difficult chances of selection. You should wait for counselling letter. And also can check the cutoff rank list which is going to be released by BHU soon.
Best of luck!!
