Does biotechnology engineering in SRM require PCB + Maths. Can students with PCB apply in SRM?

Hi

Yes, PCB student without maths are eligible for btech biotechnology in SRM.

This is because

To be eligible for SRM Btech biotechnology, maths is not mandatory.

Students with at least any one out of biology /biotechnology or Maths are eligible.

Passed 10+2 /equivalent from a recognised board  with Physics, Chemistry and at least  anyone of

  • Mathematics

  • or Biology

  • or Biotechnology

Also, must have at least 50 % aggregate in PCM/PCB

if our roll number is not in the provisional allotment result of round1 ,then does that mean i didnt get seat in the colleges I chose?

Hello Aspirant,

Yes if your roll number is not there in the provisional allotment list of round 1st then it means that you have not got any seat in round 1st of NEET UG AIQ counselling but it does not mean that you will not get seat in round 2nd also, you can get seat in round 2nd depending upon your NEET UG 2021 score.

if having pcb in 12 and doing graduation in biotechnology can we become pilot after graduation

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing well ! To become a pilot you need to fulfill the following requirements-.

  • Your age should not be less than 17 years to begin training
  • You must have scored 50% in 10+2 which may vary as per the Institute requirement
  • You must have studied  [Maths, Physics, and Chemistry] along with English at the intermediate level
  • If you are a non-science student, you may pursue the required subjects through the National Institute of Open Schooling or as a private candidate from the respective state board.

Hence the last point is for you ,pursue the required subject through open schooling and after that pursue any bachelor degree and get flying experience and next steps ,but you need to pursue math from open schooling..

Candidate are required to have passed 10th and 10+2 with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as core subjects, with minmum 50% overall (45% for SC/ST candidates) ,

Even if you have studied PCB OR PCM you are eligible to opt for B. Sc in Biotechnology.
