If you are biology study then you can only attempt PCB or if you are maths student then you can opt PCM, there is no compulsion to attempt both. However, the total marks would be given by 180, which includes both mathematics and biology, means if you attempt both then you will hav a good rank.

Ankita if you are a student from science background PCM/PCB then you can do BSc. Forensic Science.
The basic eligibility criteria is (10+2) or equivalent with PCB or PCM as main subject and score of 55% is necessary.

For calculating the aggregate marks and cut-off marks for fulfilling the top 20 percentile criterion, the following 5 subjects will be considered:
(a) Physics (b) Chemistry (c) Mathematics (d) A Language (e) Any subject (other than four above mentioned subject).
This means you can add any subject.But keep English as mandatory,which increases the scope of getting admission

You can choose humanities as your wish but let me remind you that if you dont't have other subjects like political science and history, this will create a disadvantage for you. So i will recommend you to choose humanities if you are really interested or if you want to go for UPSC in your future.
