I have scored 67% in Physics, chemistry and Biology and my overall percentage is 65.86%, could you please tell will I be eligible for B.Pharm or MBBS, if i score good in MHCET OR NEET UG. What is the criteria for PCB In B.Pharm and MBBS For PCB.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2020
Hello

Neet eligibility  criteria says that,
to be eligible  you must have passed your 12th with English and PCB (pass in both the theory and practical )  with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th  examination  if you belong to general category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st .

Now , your aggregate in physics chemistry and Biology is 67% i.e more than 50 % so regardless of the category you belong to , you are eligible for Neet examination.

For detailed information about neet examination go through our page for which link is provided below; -

CBSE student : In Academic info they have asked for Group code ,we donot have any other option apart from Physics /Maths/Chemistry /Biology. For me it should be Physics /Maths/Chemistry /Computer science. Please help

vishesh kumar 31st Aug, 2020

Hi,

I would like to tell you that Computer Science isn't considered the main subject for academics. It is only an optional subject. In certain places it is asked but most of the times, only the main subjects are required to fill which are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for a science student. So fill only P.C.M, P.C.B or P.C.M.

Hope this will solve your query.

I am a student who has completed 12th grade in CBSE.In the academic information of TNEA application, I cant choose my group code (Maths/Physics/ Chemistry/Computer Science) as only (Maths/Physics/ Chemistry/Biology) is available. Why?

Amulraj Panneerselvam 17th Jul, 2020

You may have got any misunderstanding. there is only one group code in the option as you have described under CBSE section. But the option you described in the question is wrong. The option the dropbox shows is "Physics/ Chemistry/Maths/optional subject(0001). In below columns, you just have to enter your marks secured in computer science. Kindly Double check the webpage and details filled in the registration process.
