Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 21st Oct, 2019

hello,

you should try for improvement exam. failing in math may cause great problem in future, as you are interested in commerce line of study, maths marks will be reciewd in many times. and there is really less chances for selected in j.d BIRLA. See you may get admission in some private colleges in kolkata, but believe me at the time of a job interview you may rejected. please give improvement exam and pass in math.

I did my B.Tech in biotechnology and now I am willing to join IAF, since my background is from biology stream I was a little confused as to whether I will be able to or not. So it will be very helpful if anyone will be able to clear my perplexity. Thank you in anticipation.

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 20th Oct, 2019

Hello,

IAF takes students who belong to core branch or non-technical branch like mechanical. Even technical students have very low chance to get into IAF. so your chance to join IAF is very less. there is no stream or any domain work needed related to biotechnology. It's better if you look for work related to your branch and get your expertise in the skills on tools and technologies and get a decent job where you are interested.

even for fresher girls there is no chance they mostly recruit male candidates preferably.

Hope it helps!

there is FT( failed in theory) in marks of biology but i am overall pass in biology (6 in theory+30 in practical = 36).and my pcb aggregate is 68 %. Am a eligible for neet 2020

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Oct, 2019
Hello there!

Greetings!

No , you are not eligible for neet, to be eligible for Neet, one should pass in all the subjects in both theory and the practical and should have an aggregate of at least 50 % in pcb for general category, thus you are not eligible for neet as you have failed in theory of biology, even if you have an aggregate of 68% overall.

Thankyou

can a class 12th student can be a doctor if he is not having biology as subject if yes then how????

pdwords Student Expert 20th Oct, 2019
Hello,

In order to be eligible for NEET, one needs to fulfill the following criteria-

Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects, those having Biology as an additional are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET is based on PCB aggregate only against each category mentioned below-

UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%

There's no upper age limit in NEET, so no restriction also in terms of appearing for this examination.

So, to answer your question, you can be eligible to appear for NEET, only if you've biology as an additional subject.
