Tanya Gupta 29th Jul, 2022

Hey student,

No, it is not compulsory to pass in all the 6 subjects.

One just need to pass in any of the 5 subjects to be considered as pass

If you fail in mathematics then also you will be considered as pass

All the best student,

Hope this helps you.

40% marks required in neet 2023 I am obc catagiri chemistry 37 physics 37 biology 48 ..... 12th total% is 53 % ..... 37 +37+48= 122 ÷300×100 = 40.6666667 % can. I am eligible in neet 2023 please tell me in fast

rajeevanand843 23rd Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

UR - 50%,

OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

PWD - 45%

As you have mentioned you have scored 53% total in class 12th then I hope you have passed all of your subject both theory & practical and eligible for being higher studies.

Now if we talk neet eligibility criteria then you need 40% aggregate marks in PCB subject for OBC category. As you have mentioned you got 37 in each physics and chemistry and 48 in biology so if we calculate you get 122/300 which is 40.66 %.

For neet qualifying you need 40% or more and you have got that so yes you are definitely qualified for neet2023 .

you can check full details of  neet eligibility criteria from link below

Hope this information helps you

Good luck

i had completed my 12 in 2021 by pcm from cbse board, if i apply for biology from nios in this year 2022 , will i eligible for neet 2023?

Aditya 25th Aug, 2022

Hello Divyanshu,

To be eligible for NEET, the student must have passed his/her 12th Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English compulsorily. The aggregate marks of 60% in all the above mentioned subjects i.e. PCBE is must required to get eligible for NEET.

As you have given your 12th Board with PCM, you have to give NIOS 12th re-examination to include Biology subject in your 12th marksheet if you want to appear for NEET 2023.

Giving NIOS 12th re-examination makes you then eligible for NEET. So, start preparing for Biology 12th Board Examination. Look at the previous years' 12th Board Biology question paper. In sideways, also keep preparing for NEET also, as NEET is your ultimate aim . Make a perfect schedule for both of these studies, then only you'll be able to handle both.

Here are details of NIOS Examination :-

Hope this helps. All the Best.

Thank You.

student got compartment in 12 th class biology and aggrigate he got 54% weather he is eligible for NEET 2022 COUNSELLING

rajeevanand843 22nd Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant

Candidates Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board .

So it's doesn't matter you have passed with regular exam or in the compartment exam but you must have passed your every subject in 12th class.

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

  • PWD - 45%

So your PCB aggregate marks must be more than 50% marks if you belong Gen category.

as you have mentioned 54% aggregate marks, if it's aggregate marks of PCB subject instead of whole 12th class subject then you are qualified to take neet exam and get admission in medical College.

you can check full details of  neet eligibility criteria from link below

https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria-2022/amp

You can use neet college predictor tool for knowing chance of getting admission in MBBS BDS BAMS college at your expected marks, link is below

Hope i may have resolved your query

Good luck

>>>>> If you belongs to General/UR category then your aggregate of PCB (Theory + Practical) should be equal to or more than 50%(40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PwD).

>>>>> You should be pass in English subject as well.

>>>>> Your minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of the examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.
