Biomedical Engineering
Hello aspirant,
Generally, I guess biomedical engineering could require higher abilities in math, physics, chemistry, and so on. Besides, biomedical engineering could be regarded as using the engineering methods to solve medical problems.
Biomedical sciences could be “traditional”. Em.. my principle investigators in the lab, who graduated from Georgia tech, always uses this word to describe other labs in our medical school… e.g. other lab may knock out genes and use confocal to capture the change of protein distribution in the cell, and to conclude the existence protein interaction from the microscopic image; but our lab with engineering background may use single molecule technique to directly study the kinetics of protein interaction, inc. the association and dissociation rate and so on.
Hope this helps you
All the best for your future
Hello,
Biomedical engineers are professionals who are responsible to develop medical tools and equipment that can be used by healthcare professionals and doctors. They also find solutions to resolve health-related problems using the technologies. Their skill involved the skills of biology, engineering, chemistry and medicine to design and develop biomedical products. They make the life of healthcare professionals easy using digital technologies so on. The salary range is between the 1 lakh to 9 lakh ( this may vary depend upon the cities you get the job).
Industrial Technology is the use of engineering and manufacturing technology to make production faster, simpler and more efficient. The industrial technology field employs creative and technically proficient individuals who can help a company achieve efficient and profitable productivity. programs typically include instruction in optimization theory, human factors, organizational behavior, industrial processes, industrial planning procedures, computer applications, and report and presentation preparation.Industrial engineers may work with supply chain and also overlook production factors, safety and budgetary concerns .
In the word the best college for biomedical engineering would be MIT ( Massachusetts Institute of Technology ) . In India some good college for biomedical engineering would be
for getting into these IITS you will have to clear JEE ADVANCE with a good rank under 3k
next option , if you could not clear jee advance lets have plan b, some of the good colleges you can get into can be
to get into these college you need to qualify JEE MAINS ,
There are also many colleges other than national institution which are famous for bio medical engineering
hope this clarifies your doubt ,
best wishes for your future
You may definitely pursue Biomedical Engineering, perhaps its more of a Research Domain in Biotechnology. You may pursue Graduation in Biotechnology from some of the best Technical Institutes in India followed by Masters in Biomedical Engineering.

hi,
see eligibility criteria for m.tech in bio medical engineering is candidates must have completed bachelors degree on relevant discipline. however In India admission to m.tech course in tier 1 institute is based on gate score. to admission in biomedical stream you have to appear in gate . IIT bombay offers m.tech in biomedical engineering for non departments students. eligibility criteria is candidates must complete the bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering (BM), Biotechnology (BT), Chemical Engineering (CH), Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering (EC), Engineering Physics (EP), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Metallurgy & Materials Science (MT), Pharmaceutical Technology (PY), with valid gate score.
follow the below link to know about colleges which offer m.tech in biomedical engineering:

see gate cutoff for bio medical engineering is 22.5 for obc ncl students. since your score is less then the qualifying cutoff you do not qualify for gate 2021 exam. so you will not get gate score card.
however there is many others exam like bits hd, ts pgecet, ap pgecet which do not required gate score to admission in m.tech. you may apply in case you are interested for m.tech course.
hope it would help.
There are many excellent technical institutes in India for M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Technology and other Biotechnology Domains. Some of the best Institutes include IITB, IITD, IITM, RVCE, Jadavpur University as well as Top Private Universities like Manipal, VIT and SRM. The above Universities have excellent infrastructure, faculty and research facilities besides providing effective Education.

As far as the scope after graduation is concerned, it is limited to research and less inclined towards industry. Though today, there are companies recruiting Postgraduates from these streams like TCS R&D, BD, Biocon, Biogene, GE Healthcare and Applied Materials, they are few in number.
You may aspire a PhD abroad after M.Tech from soms of the Top IITs, NITs followed by a career in research, academia or engineering.

University College of Engineering, Osmania University is a Government institute. As per the information available in the official handbook of Osmania University the admission to all B.E courses is based on the marks score in common entrance test conducted by state government of Telangana. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts TS EAMCET every year for admission to B.E/B.Tech, B.Pharm, Agriculture etc. To get admission to B.E Bio Medical Engineering in Osmania University you need to appear for TS EAMCET and qualify in it. In 2020 a candidate with TS EAMCET rank 32257 belonging to SC category secured seat in B.E Bio Medical Engineering. So you need to secure a rank below 32000 to have decent chances of getting seat in the preferred University.
