Hello!

The eligibility criteria for BITSAT exam is as follows:

  • Candidates should have passed the 12th exam from a recognized Central/ State board or equivalent with PCM/PCB (subjects) & english too.
  • Candidates should obtain min of aggregate 75% marks in PCM (if taken maths in Bitsat) or min aggregate of 75% marks in PCB (if taken biology in bitsat), with atleast 60% marks in each of these subjects (pcm/pcb)
  • Students who appeared for class 12 in 2019 or who are appearing for 12 class this year are inly eligibile.

For more details: https://www.bitsadmission.com/Eligibility_Criteria.aspx

So, if you scored 73.8% in class 12th pcm/pcb then you're not eligible, please specify if you score is for overall class 12th subjects or just pcm/pcb

Hello Aspirant,

Eligibility criteria for BITSAT says that you have to score an aggregate of 75%. However in addition to this the candidate also have to score a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

So I'm afraid you're not eligible for BITSAT.

Vagisha Aggarwal 15th Mar, 2020

Hello Shivendra

Yes you definitely can appear in the entrance exams in 2021 but you should make sure that if you want to reappear in 2022 you do not cross the upper age limit for the exams.

Also I would suggest you to appear for 2020 exams as well if possible to get a better idea of what to study and what to expect in 2021 exam .

one of the eligibility to bitsat is 75% in mpc , will they consider both 1 year and 2nd year % or only 2nd year ?

Anantika Kushwaha 14th Mar, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

Only 12th standard marks are considered in BITSAT not 11th standard. You have to score individual 60% and an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for seeking admission in BITS.

Hope it helps. All the very best.
