Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani
Hello Sarthak!
First of all, congratulations on your selection to these institutes!
So,CMI Chennai will provide you BSc. Hons degree while BITS Pilani will provide you with B.E. degree in Computer Science. The basic difference will be in the job profile you'll be eligible for. Also, the placement statistics are very different for these two colleges. If you seek an immediate, secure future, BITS Pilani CS it is. B. Tech will provide you more technical exposure. But if you are more oriented towards research then you go for BSc. CS.
Best Wishes!

In order to get admission in BITS-Pilani, you have to give their entrance examination (BITSAT). On qualifying BITSAT ie scoring decent marks in the exam, you can clear respective cutoff of different departments and can get enrolled into.
Also board toppers can get direct admission in BITS Pilani. Hope that helps.

Hi Rajiv,
No, there isn't mechatronics or robotics elective in BITS Pilani. If you're interested in it, you can fo your B.E in either Electrical and Electronics Engineering or in Mechanical Engineering. And then, later on, you can do masters in robotics or mechatronics.
All the best
Hello,
You should choose LNMIIT instead of Bits Pilani Goa because you have interest in CSE.
Let me tell You that Bits Pilani Goa campus is not that much reputed when compared to Bits Pilani, main Campus.
So only that name is there of Bits Pilani.
If You have high interest in Cse than you should definitely choose that only as studying ece would involve different subjects and would deviate you from your interest.
Best Wishes
As per the rule for BITSAT eligibility, you must know that BITS requires 75% in individual subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for B.E course for BITS campuses, except Dubai campus. Also total percentage should be above 75%. Thus in any case you need to have above 75 in individual subjects also. I hope I was helpful.
Thank You
Hello aspirant,
The facility to change the preference order is provided only once as it is written on the QnA page of BITS that be careful while filling the form. Also the link for changing the preference was available on 12 June and now it has been closed so there has been no option to change the preference order now. So just wait for the results according to the preference order now.
Hope this helps.
If any queries feel free to ask.
All the best!!
Regards.
You can apply for the fee waiver seat if you are eligible for it. Then if you get it its the only way u need not pay huge fees but there is no other option to escape from it. But for that too u need to have proper documents and since there are a limited setas in fee waiver so u need to get it done soon once the allotment process starts.
