In news, I read that top 4 NIT have seats vacant. With a rank of 60962 in JEE Main, will I get a seat in these top NIT from CSAB counseling?

I have total 68% in my 12th boards PCM , and the forms for improvment are closed by cbse , if i attempt on demand examination exam from NIOS in PCM will jee , BITS , vit , srm , these will accept my result? as i will have 2 marksheets where 3 subjects improved from nios and rest 2 are in cbse.

There are lots of different types of reservations. Counselling is done on this seats differently. So, with this rank for sure you will not get top 4 NIT swith good branches.

But you may try for some middle nits or lower NITs, there you have high chances like NIT jamshedpur, patna, raipur, arunachal, agartalla, etc... you will get lower branches here.

Hello adnan,

To get top NITs you need to get a rank under 15000,if you are from general category.so its difficult for you to get admission in top 4 NITs,especially in streams like computer science, IT,ece, but may be you can get streams like metallurgical or chemical engineering.

So if you are interested in these fields,you can try.

And also there are many state level colleges who accept the students with low JEE ranks,you can search for them too.

With your rank in JEE main, you might get some seat in the NITs in the CSAB spot round. But in the top 4 NITs, you have chances but very less. So please go for the CSAB spot round. As you might get a seat. So all the best. And definitely go for the counseling.
