Between EEE and EC, EC is a better field for engineering because of its demand in the market. EC will also offer good career options in future.

Civil branch is good , there are lots of government jobs and also you will get high salary.
DTU's also have awesome placement.

Yes, you can get college through REAP counseling but not the government you can get private institute.so better option will be going to the private college and take direct admission.

You get option to chance your branch within B.Tech, for example from ECE to CSE, Civil to ECE etc. But changing your degree from B.Sc to B.Tech is not possible.

selecting branch is personal choice. Choose branch you have interest in. Do not go for the brand value of college or branch. However placement for CSE is more than any other branch.
