I got 93 marks in AP eamcet. and 934 marks in board exam. can you predict my rank

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th Sep, 2020

Hello,

Marks scored in group subjects in intermediate first year and second year are considering and 25% weightage which is out of 600 marks is given to that and 75% weightage is given to marks scored in EAMCET. It is difficult to predict the exact rank as it depends on number of candidates qualified, normalized marks, top score etc. You may expect your rank to be around 6,000. You have not mentioned your category, assuming that you belong to general category you may have chances of getting seat in

  • JNTU, Kakinada: INF &EEE
  • JNTU, Kalkiri: CSE
  • SVU: Mechanical & Civil

This is based on 2018 cut off trends, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty level of exam, number of seats available etc.

You may predict the colleges in which you may get seat using our AP EAMCET college predictor

I got 72 percentile in jee main and 70 percent in board exam from BSEB I want government colleges

Dhruv 26th Sep, 2020
Hello, you have not mentioned your category and rank so I am assuming you to be in general category and for general category at this rank chances of getting any Nit IIIT good Gfti like Pec Chandigarh, Bit Mesra looks not possible.
It may be possible that you can get lower branches like civil engineering, mechanical engineering, food technology, in some gfti but this also depends on cutoff , which changes every year.

So, I would recommend you to go for some private College or University like Chandigarh University, Lovely Professional University, Graphic Era, Galgotia University,Amity University .
Apply for other states government and private colleges which accepts Jee mains marks for admission.

If you want to take a drop for next year exam you can also take but you have to work hard so that next year you can get good colleges.

Refer to this link it will help you.

Hello, Please clear few of my doubt, which are: 1. If i opt for BA Geography (H) but not considered geography from my board exam. e.g. my marks are Eng 83, Geo 91, His 95, Eco 95, IP 95. So my best four including language is 92. But i want to opt for Geography instead of history?

Prachi Pant 3rd Nov, 2020

Hi

The eligibility criteria for getting admission in BA Geography hons is determined by your best of four percentage where 1 language and 3 generic elective subjects are taken into consideration.

Delhi University used to deduct upto 5% on changing of stream. However, this year there's no such rule. If you haven't studied geography in your plus 2 but still want to opt for geography hons then there is no issue. You will not face any deduction.

Thanks

Hi aspirant,

basic education qualification required for appearing in JEE main, one should completed 12th or appearing in 12th. Also there is no age limit in appearing in JEE main. In your case you already passed 12th so you can appear for JEE main and no need to pass 12 again. However you are still going to appear for 12 again, then also you can appear for JEE main.

hope this is helpful to clear your dilemma.
