arpan00002 23rd Sep, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You got 100 in nata exam & 63.8% in your board exam.

Now, see, for general catagory,

With >155 marks, you can get a descent govt college.

With 130 to 155, you can get a good private college.

With 100 to 130, you can get a medium good private college.

It can be varied slightly.

Now, as you are in OBC catagory, you have a good chance to get a good private college.

All the best  !!

I got 63.8 in board exam and 93.38 in jeemain paper 2 can I get any NIT ?

Nikhitha Sai 19th Sep, 2020

Hello Student,

A score of 63.8 in your boards is a bit low of a mark. Due to the competition increasing by the minute everyday, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. Hence, unfortunately the top nits and IITs would be tough to get into with this score.

However, since you have not mentioned any reservation, the chances of you getting into some some of these universities can a bit on the higher side if you belong to a reserved category. Since you have not specified the course, there are even some good universities into which you have a good chance of getting into.

Some other good universities with this rank would be:

1. SSN College of Engineering, Chennai

2. SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur

3. Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh

4. Delhi University

5. Shiv Nadar University

6. VIT, Vellore

7. Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal

sir, I had given my 1st time jee in 2019 , I had got 73 percent in board exam that year. again I give jee nd improvement in 2020...i cant improved my boards marks.i had not get any college.so can i give nios 12thboard April exam to eligible for nit counselling in 2021? will nit accept it??

gudduchaini Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020

Hello ararsh . I wont recommend to again drop a year as I m in national institute of technology bhopal and now the most companies that are visiting our college have a criteria of not allowing student to sit in interview if he or she has more than one year of gap between 12th and the year of admission into college so i would suggest you to take admission into any other good college with computer science branch and start building your carrer in new path . Its my opinion or else its your decision to take .

Hope it helps
