Can I get direct admission in IMS BHU for bpt course as I had appeared in neet UG 2025 exam

Prachi Kumari 23rd May, 2025

Hello,

You cannot get direct admission to the BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) course at IMS BHU.

Admissions to undergraduate courses at BHU, including BPT, are based on the CUET-UG exam, not NEET UG scores.

To get admission in BPT at IMS BHU, you need to:

  1. Appear for CUET-UG exam.

  2. Get the required score in CUET-UG.

  3. Participate in BHU counselling.

  4. Meet the eligibility criteria set by BHU.

Make sure to check the official BHU notifications for the latest admission details.

Hope it helps !

I got 1700rank then iam qualified or not

Anushree Thakare 30th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

A JEE Advanced rank of 1700 typically means you are qualified for admission to IITs, especially if you are in a reserved category or if you are targeting specific branches and IITs.

It's a good rank that opens up opportunities in various IITs, though the specific branches and colleges will depend on your category and the preferences you specify during counseling.

You can expect to get into IITs like IIT Patna, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kharagpur (depending on the branch), and newer IITs with this rank.

You might find opportunities in core branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical engineering in some IITs, or even some Electrical Engineering (EE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) seats in less competitive IITs.

hey i want to admition in bpt course, in all ind gov. collage &im also a sc category student, through the neet 2025

SHUBHANGI SINHA 15th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Being in the SC category and taking the Neet 2025 exam provides you and advantage when applying to government universities in India for a bachelor of physiotherapy program, But it's crucial to remember that Neet is often not required for BPT.

What You should do?

  • Apply via college websites or state counselling portals.
  • whenever feasible, apply using your 12th board grade in addition to your Neet score, if it is accepted.
  • Your prospects increase as a SC candidate because of reserved seats and lower cutoffs.
