what should be my budget to get a mbbs seat in college in Karnataka and i belong to 2a obc with the score of 360

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 12th Oct, 2020

A score of 360 loosely converts to an All India Rank range of 168240-180534 . In 2019, with this rank, with 2A reservation, Candidates were placed in:

Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences

KLE Dental College

Rajiv Gandhi Dental College

This is Government Quota seat list and so the fees will be approximately 5 lakhs. But if you are particular about MBBS, then you might have to try under Management quota only where the fees will be around 20 lakhs and more. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. sir my score is around 260 can i get MBBS seat in management qouta or Hyderabad Karnataka quota is low budget like around 30 lacks for total MBBS course

Kanith Sawkar 7th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirant,

In your case, Hyderabad-Karnataka quota won't be helpful since your NEET score is not sufficient for a seat through government quota that is 85% state quota. However, it seems like you may have a chance of getting an MBBS seat through management quota, but you won't get a low budget seat. Expect the fees to be Rs 35 lakhs and above for your MBBS course. You can expect to get a management seat at Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, BGS Institute of Medical Sciences, Kengeri etc.

Hii!
As per your expected marks in NEET UG 2020, the cutoff may go high for EWS category also, as per the previous year datas. It's quite difficult to get a seat at AIQ counseling but you can try in Rajasthan State counseling. You can use our college predictor tool to search for the college or get an idea as to what all colleges you can apply into. The link to it is provided below-

I am from Nagpur (MH) my score according to answer key is 455 Can I get any semi govr. or private medical college for MBBS in low budget I am in OBC category

ABHIK SHAW 3rd Oct, 2020

Hello,

Based upon the marks that you have scored, you may have a rank in the range of 73337-81607. With this rank and your category you have better chances for private colleges and MBBS Deemed Universities under 85% State Quota. The OBC cutoffs are very much near to the general category cutoffs and are almost similar. Regarding low budget, private colleges always have higher fees than government colleges, the fees differ for each colleges but are comparatively  higher.

sir i have scored 390 to 395 in neet 2020 i belong to Karnataka and 2ag category sir so do i have chance of getting government seat in private College ??or not ?? if not what should my budget need to be to get seat in private College ??

Anurag pal Student Expert 30th Sep, 2020

Hey dear, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get govt. Mbbs colleges, so with 395 marks you won't get an mbbs seat for sure in a govt. College, although you can try for bams and bhms courses, you will have chance in it. And as far as private colleges are concerned you can easily get admission there but with high fees. You can also predict your college through this link:
