NO, your caste certificate issued from the Uttar Pradesh state government will not be valid in West bengal Joint Entrance exam (WBJEE). This is because one cast certificate is not valid in other sate exam as it is state specific. This is not valid because the list of Castes is State specific . As such a member of SC/ST/OBC is eligible for benefits in his state of origin only. A member of Backward Community, who migrates to other State is not entitled to get benefits, from the state of migration.

In order to have a valid Caste certificate in WBJEE you have to apply a fresh and valid SC Caste Certificate issued by West Bengal Board.

hope you are doing good, unfortunately JEE main is not accepted in Calcutta University. For get admission in Calcutta University you have to attempt WBJEE exam and in 1st round of counselling the cut off was for general category for b.tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering was around 152-886 all over India.

Calcutta University does not accept the Central University entrance test scores for admissions. Instead, it uses:

• West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for B.Tech programs,
• JELET for B.Tech lateral entry,
• Merit-based admissions for BA, B.Sc, and B.Com programmes,
• Entrance exams such Calcutta University BA LLB exam as  for specific courses like BA LLB.

Calcutta University don't offers any Bachelors course at its university campus but this courses are offered by the affiliated colleges of the university.

As a result, if any college is asking for the best of 4 score, then they will specify which subjects must be present mandatorily in your best of 4 score. For example, for the course of BSc Physics, the marks of Physics and Mathematics are compulsorily mentioned to be added. So you have to read the application brochure well.

For MSc courses at Calcutta University, one need to have completed there BSc with Hons. mandatorily. You can appear for the examination such as IIT JAM, Central University etc which don't have this Hons. criterion. Also in CU you can apply for the LLB course as well as it didn't have the Hons criterion. But for MSc you aren't eligible.

For apply for Master of Library course in Calcutta University, Kolkata, candidates must have Bachelor's degree in Library Science/ Library and Information Science/ Information Science or any relevant degree from a recognised College or University.

there is no upper age limit for Calcutta University LLB entrance exam .

the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam is as follows:

• The candidates belonging to the general category must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% from an institution recognized byCalcutta university For the SC/ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark is 40%. The qualifying marks and percentage of the students will be calculated from the best four subjects excluding environmental science.

• The candidates who passed the qualifying examination from the boards other than WBCHSE, CBSE, ISC, and Rabindra Mukto Vidyalay must obtain the Equivalence Certificate from Calcutta University.

• The foreign candidates interested to apply for CU BA LLB 2022 must provide their original mark sheets of previous academic endeavors for verification
