i have completed my 12th in 2021 from cbse board in mathematics and I want to reappear in biology only in 2022 from up board.. will i be eligible for neet 2022 ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 6th Sep, 2021

Hi

As of now students with biology as an additional subject are eligible for neet so going by this, y es, yes you are eligible for NEET 2022 even if you have study Biology as an additional /optional subject from UP board or any recognised board

This is because,

The eligibility of students with Biology as an additional / optional subject  is in the supreme court but until it gives its judgement students, these students are eligible for neet

Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-

-----------) Qualification required :-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.

†††Important Note :- Students who have passed Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement. For neet 2022 there's still time left so in meanwhile if judgement comes then eligibility will depend upon the outcome of judgement.

-----------)  Percentage required :- You must get

  • at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category

  • at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination . There is no upper age limit as of now because the case of upper age limit of 25 years is pending in supreme court since 2018.

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

can i get an admission in TS CHANAKYA with 90% in PCM(CBSE board) as this year ranks will be given on the basis of 12th marks? normalization will be done to give the rank

Shamik Debnath 18th Sep, 2021

Hiiii

There are numerous understudies who will show up for the JEE Main test and are stressed over their planned scores and the comparing percentile. Due to the course of JEE Main standardization presented by the National Testing Agency, the vast majority of the understudies get confounded on what is the base score that would assist them with intersection the JEE Main cutoff bar. Subsequently, for such understudies, Careers360 brings the comprehension of imprints needed to score 90 percentile in JEE Main as clarified by Prof. Uma Sankar (All India IIT Coordinator at Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions). Notwithstanding, the score doesn't in itself thoroughly guarantee that the understudy will get a school and this absolutely relies on the JEE Main outcome which chooses the imprints, rank just as percentile.

Can I directly give 12th without going to class 11th ?, because currently I am in Class 9 and I have completed the syllabus of class 10th and 11th twice, and I will do it one more time and then I will start class 12th preparation, (I am in CBSE Board) Question: Can I skip 11th and Can I go to 12th?

ANKITA SONI 5th Sep, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

First of all congratulations for achieving such a milestone. According to your query, ofcourse you can directly give 12th boards without going to class 11th and 12th as well. There's non-attending criteria there in many schools/colleges from where you may take admission further after 10th boards. Hope this helps you.

ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!

in cbse board 80 prsent and jee main 23 prsentile which college is best for mp for my best currer btech for Cs branch

Harsha Sinha 2nd Sep, 2021

Hi there,

If you belong to general category or even sc/st category still your percentile score is quite low to get a seat in the cse branch at any good or average college.

I would recommend to take a drop and try to score at least 75+ percentile to get a decent branch at some good college.

Despite this there might be some. College which can offer you a seat not surely for cse but for some other branch. You can search those colleges in the following link

What I should do I have done my 10th from CBSE Board and they havent gave us marks so what should I do and in CAT form it is written that we have to multiply our CGPA by 10 but according to CBSE it should be multiplied by 9.5 so what should I do now?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 28th Aug, 2021

Hello,

CBSE has already prescribed formula to convert the CGPA in to percentage of marks. You can find the formula to convert the CGPA into percentage on the class 10th certificate. You have to multiply 9.5xCGPA to calculate the percentage and you have to fill the same in CAT application form. The CGPA should be multiplied with 10 in case the formula for conversion of CGPA in to percentage is not prescribed by a board/university.

Percentile also commonly called as centile,is a statistical assessment of the percentage of students below and above the level you have scored out of total number of students.A few terms related to percentile are: 25th percentile is first quartile,50th percentile is median or second quartile,75th percentile is third quartile.Percentile can be calculated by the formula:

Percentile of student X = 100-100*(number of aspirants ahead of student X)/ number of total aspirants.
