What all entrance forms for 2021 i can fill as i completed my 12th in 2020 by PCB and what all best university entrance exam can be given

Ayush 16th Dec, 2020

Hi candidate,

There are several entrance examinations which you can appear for in the coming academic year 2021, but a lot depends on your choice and interest.

Since you have taken PCB in your class 12th, so the first exam I can opt for is the medical examination or neet, you can also opt for JE exams if you have maths as a optional subject. Other entrance examination such as VIT, BITSAT are some other examinations which we can look for.

Hope this helps you.

what are the difference between central universities and state universities

Gbharath Raj 4th Nov, 2020

Hello applicant,

*Firstly I wanna talk about the state universities which are owned by   state. They are mainly for the students of that particular state, and have special state quota for the people of that particular state. Although other state people can also join these universities. These take admission through an entrance test held for admission to that univeristy only, with centres in that particular state only.

*A central university is one, which is a national university. There is no state quota for students admitting to this university. However there is some caste and gender quota. These universities function at national level. The funds and other facilities are provided by government of India, and not any particular state.

*In general the national universities are preffered over state universities, probably due to there better recognition.

Hope it helpful

will I get alloted a seat in deemed university even if I register only for government colleges and central universities in AIQ counselling?

Swetha N 27th Oct, 2020
Hello Divyansh,

See....

You will be getting a seat in one of the colleges which you have selected or filled during web options process. That doesn't matter if they are govt. or deemed or central etc. From whatever colleges you have filled in web options, you will be alloted a seat in any one among the selected colleges(be it the govt.college or deemed or central universities) if you are eligible to get admission in that college based on your rank, category etc.

You can use the below college predictor link to get a list of colleges in which you have chances of admission based on your rank, state, category etc https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

This helps you to get an idea of possible top colleges for your rank and makes it easy during filling web options.

Hope you found this helpful.

During counselling can I register by paying initial deposit of 10000 and apply only for govt colleges and central universities and then in second round pay 200000 and apply for deemed universities ?

Mrinalini Sarkar 31st Oct, 2020

Hello,

Yes, you can do that by giving the initial deposit an only appear for government colleges and central universities in the first round. Later on you could apply for Deemed universities after paying amount of 2lakhs in the second round. Counselling for government and central colleges are conducted by MCC and for deemed universities it is conducted by DGHS on behalf of MCC so both are separate and there is no issue in apply for both.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

Which amoung these Central universities has best syllabus for integrated msc chemistry Pondicherry university or Hyderabad university

Abhishek Roy 3rd Dec, 2020

As far as M.Sc. Chemistry is concerned, apart from IITs, most Public Universities have similar courses and curriculum, however I still believe Hyderabad University will be a better choice than Pondicherry University. Hyderabad University is one of the oldest and best universities in South India next to Anna University, IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore and Osmania University. Being located near Industrial Hubs and other Research Labs and Institutions in Hyderabad, itself provides huge scope and prospects in training and placements. Besides this, Hyderabad University has good infrastructure, faculty, research facilities and most importantly is one of the safest campus in South India.

if a student who is a resident of j&k and has opted for the state quota, but has a very good score in NEET examination, can he/she apply for a branch of AIIMS, or any of the Central universities? like AIIMS jammu?

Shivam Khare 1st Dec, 2020

Hello Dear Student,

Yes, you are eligible for AIIMS Seats but not for 15% All India Quota Seats of other GMCs.

According to Counselling Scheme Brochure of MCC, the Candidates from the J&K Union Territory are eligible for the Counselling of following Medical Colleges:

1. All AIIMS

2. JIPMER

3. BHU

4. Deemed Universities

So according to this, you can register for MCC Counselling, but Round 1 and Round 2 Counselling process is already over and next round is Mop-up Round and the Possibilities for Vacant Seats in Mop-up Round for AIIMS, JIPMER & BHU is very low.

Please Go through the Website of MCC for more details.

Sir, I have made a mistake in Date of Birth during CUCET 2020 form fill up whose correction is not available during correction time. Will the Central Universities acept my application form during councelling with my mistake in DOB ?

Sonali Sharma 4th Nov, 2020

Dear student,

It seems that you have made in your Date of Birth  a mistake during online application form process which is not being corrected by you at that time. You don't have to worry about this, as this is not a big problem because sometimes it may happen during filling online applications. You can write an email about mentioning this issue before attending your counselling or you can talk about this at the time of your counseling. This will definitely be corrected.

Good luck!

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 31st Oct, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. The authorities release CUCET cutoff lists which also contain the name/registration/form number of the candidates. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list/provisional result/cut off list of CUCET, have to further register and participate in the counselling in online/offline mode. CUCET cutoff can be different for the same programmes at different central universities. CUCET 2020 cutoff will also vary from course to course, as per the categories of the candidates. for more Information follow the below link: https://university.careers360.com/articles/cucet-cutoff
