can i qualify neet with 280 marks ? I belong from sc catagory

pushpachoudhary7413 5th Oct, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing good

As i can see , you have scored 280 marks in NEET.
As you have mentioned your category as SC candidate , it would provide you some benefit.

Last year to qualify NEET , 113 marks were least needed by SC category . so if we consider that , then you score is even much High and you'll be able to qualify NEET.

as cut offs change every year and there are various aspects related to that like
1. No. of candidates
2. Demand for that particular college or university amongst the candidate
3. Level of exam
4. No. of seats etc.

But don't worry
You can still get an idea about your rank , college you may get through these links

which university is better lpu or chandigarh university

inderjit kaur 23rd Nov, 2024

When comparing LPU and Chandigarh University , LPU tends to be the more preferred choice for many students due to its extensive infrastructure, larger campus, and strong industry partnerships. Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers a wide variety of programs, including B.Tech , MBA , and PhD , with an emphasis on practical learning, research, and development. LPU has built solid connections with top global companies like Amazon , Cognizant , and Accenture , ensuring excellent placement opportunities. The university’s focus on innovation, skill development, and global exposure through exchange programs and certifications adds significant value to students' overall growth, preparing them well for competitive job markets.

On the other hand, Chandigarh University is also a strong contender, offering quality education and good placement support, particularly in sectors like engineering , management , and design . While the university boasts a growing reputation, especially in Northern India, its scale and industry collaborations are not as vast as LPU’s. However, Chandigarh University’s campus is known for a lively student environment and a focus on entrepreneurship. Ultimately, both universities offer strong programs, but LPU ’s larger scale, better infrastructure, and broader industry network make it the more favorable choice for students seeking diverse opportunities and a global outlook in their education.

Hi there... Can I get addmission in Chandigarh University on the basis of my 12th percentage...?

piyush263001 24th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Chandigarh University is a famous private university that is UGC approved and has NAAC accreditation A+. The university offers various courses both at Undergraduate UG and Postgraduate PG level.

Since you haven't mentioned anything about the course which you wish to pursue from the Chandigarh University, I will consider you wishing to pursue BTech degree from the Chandigarh University. And the admission in the BTech. course is done on the basis of marks in the Entrance Test conducted by the university. The university has a common method of admitting Chandigarh University aspirants, through the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test. It is mandatory for students who wish to take admission into the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses, to take the CUCET exam and achieve qualifying marks.

Also eligibility criteria for the BTech course is that candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any two of the subjects Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science /

Biology with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the aggregate.

Average fees for the whole course ranges from 4.8 Lakhs to 7.6 lakhs for the whole course spanning 4 years.

For complete details about the college, and the courses it offers kindly check out the link given below-

I SCORED 170/400 , CAN I GET BSC BED (MATHEMATICS) IN CU TAMILNADU

Aashiketa 23rd Oct, 2021

Hi, eligibility criteria for B.Sc. BED (Mathematics) is A Pass in the Plus two examination or equivalent of any recognized board in India with 60% marks (Mathematics /Statistics, Physics and Chemistry) for General Category, 55% marks for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age.  Also, your score for CUCET is low as there are only 50 seats available. You can still give it a shot and see how it goes. Hope this helps.
