For any course there should some sort of experience you should gain for to expert that and that's where you should get interned and learn skills of such.
You should be confident that you are a full-fledged chef capable of managing a manpower of at least 100 people in a hotel with perfect knowledge of administration, Menu planning, cost control, portion control, budgeting, stock control, and culinary personnel training are just some of the skills required.

BHM or Bachelor of Hotel Management have a more professional curriculum & practice technique compared to that of BA Culinary. Also as BHM is designed more professional course type, the placements are higher in this course compared to that of BHM. Although, in both the courses you can become a chef but if you want to have a better shot in your career ahead to be a chef, then going for the course of BHM will definitely be a better choice.

Also you can try to get an internship in any hotel to learn various skills related to it.

Hi,
To become a chef, you can choose any subject in 9th and 10th. If you wish to opt Maths and Economics, you can choose it. However, the most basic educational qualification needed to be a chef is to complete a 2-year or 4-year culinary arts programme. You can choose courses like pastry preparation, culinary techniques or any other topic.
I hope your query is cleared,
Thank you.
Hope you are doing well.
I am glad to know that you are willing to pursue your passion. BUt for this you need to ensure that you have adquate finaces with you. This is because after doing an MBA in finance, the only way you can be a pastry chef is to get into a culinary course, hotel management course and opening up your own bakery. Yes, I am not kidding. Doing MBA will give you many lessons on entrepreneurship, business modelling and much more. Just that if you have the finances, you can make it through.
Or may be after doing an MBA from reputed and top colleges, you will not be getting any package less than 25 lakhs. You can work for 3-5 years and then you can enter the career you want. Give yourself some time and think about it.
Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!
