I am currenlty in BBA Final Year and preparing for CAT. I'm not interested in doing an MBA in business but I have no other choice because of my family. I want to become a pastry chef. How do I achieve that after MBA in Finance/ Marketing?
Hope you are doing well.
I am glad to know that you are willing to pursue your passion. BUt for this you need to ensure that you have adquate finaces with you. This is because after doing an MBA in finance, the only way you can be a pastry chef is to get into a culinary course, hotel management course and opening up your own bakery. Yes, I am not kidding. Doing MBA will give you many lessons on entrepreneurship, business modelling and much more. Just that if you have the finances, you can make it through.
Or may be after doing an MBA from reputed and top colleges, you will not be getting any package less than 25 lakhs. You can work for 3-5 years and then you can enter the career you want. Give yourself some time and think about it.
Hope that you got the answer to your question. Feel free to comment back incase of any doubts. All the Best!
