IIf you are talking about NEET 

organic chemistry>inorganic chemistry 

maximum questions come from organic chemistry say 15 -20 questions & from inorganic chemistry 10-15 .

Important chapters are: 

Carbonyl compounds, Alcohols,Phenols & Ethers, Isomerism & IUPAC & then the rest

Important chapters inorganic chemistry: 

chemical bonding , d & f

According to me,you should prefer OP Tandon(for general & inorganic chemistry) and Arihant Publications for Organic Chemistry.

previous year , Closing rank for M.Sc. in IIT Delhi was AIR 92 in General Category, AIR 298 in case of OBC Category. So if you belong to OBC Category, then there are high possibilities that you can get admission in M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Delhi.
