I want to go to Delhi University my biology is very good I appear for all 5 bio, chemistry , english., physics and gat I want to take bsc in biochemistry or other is also fine I just want college of du but if my marks come poor then can I get because my bio is very strong I give all exam but I am not sure of others

Samriddha Pal 4th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Even if you haven't scored well in your 12th, you can still consider your CUET score. Anyone who wants to study at DU will have to appear for CUET. DU considers CUET score for admission. So, you still have a chance if your CUET score is good. Don't worry.

Hope this helps. All the best!

what will the expected cutoff of jnu for msc chemistry and what is the cutoff of last year in marks??

Kishan Bhakat 31st May, 2025

hi,

Last year, the cutoff for JNU M.Sc. Chemistry was around 70.33 marks for the General category, 62.66 for OBC, 66.33 for EWS, 51 for SC, 40.66 for ST, and 28.66 for PWD candidates. This year, the expected cutoff is likely to increase slightly, following the trend from previous years. So if you're aiming for admission, try to score at least 72–75 marks if you're from the General category. For reserved categories, a safe score would be 2–4 marks higher than last year’s cutoffs. Keep preparing with that in mind.

Does the marks of Practical exams of Physics and chemistry in boards are considered for Grouping criteria of MHT CET councelling

Tanisha chaudhary 31st May, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

  1. Practical exam marks from Physics and Chemistry board exams are not taken into account for grouping criteria during MHT CET counselling.
  2. These particular marks simply do not factor into the tie-breaking process.
  3. The grouping and tie-resolution process relies solely on scores obtained in the MHT CET itself.

tanvi bansal 17th Jul, 2025

Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a specific branch of pharmaceutical sciences. It focuses on designing, making, analyzing, and developing drug molecules. This field combines chemistry and pharmacology to study how drugs are made, how they interact with the body, and how to improve their effectiveness and safety. Students in this area learn organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and analytical methods such as spectroscopy and chromatography. They also study parts of pharmacognosy and drug regulations. Pharmaceutical chemists often work in research and development labs, quality control departments, or regulatory agencies within pharmaceutical companies. Career choices include becoming a medicinal chemist, analytical chemist, research scientist, or regulatory affairs specialist. The job requires both theoretical knowledge and practical lab skills. Precision, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of chemical processes are essential in this work. For those who want to continue their education, options include M.Pharm or MSc in Pharmaceutical or Organic Chemistry, as well as PhDs in related fields. Overall, pharmaceutical chemistry provides diverse opportunities in healthcare and drug development, making it a rewarding career choice.
