No tgere is no discrimination as such, admission is on merit basis and based on Internships, Candidates academic scores and AIIMS exam. There is no official report stating any such preferences towards year gap student so you shoukd just focus on exam preparation

As only students from recognised board having minimum 50%aggregate marks in 12th in General category is allowed. Even if you are appearing or appeared from NIoS board you ar enotcallowed.
