Hi sir, I got 609 score, obc non creamy, rank 16002,from RAJASTHAN. I want to know about govt college admissions in RAJASTHAN.

S. Saha Student Expert 28th Oct, 2020
Going by last year's cutoffs, it would be difficult to get any government Medical college through state quota in Rajasthan as last year seats were filled within around 13000 All India Rank. But you can expect government quota seats in private Medical colleges such as
  • Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital
  • Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Geetanjali Medical college
etc under state quota. But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change. To get complete list of all colleges you can get based on your rank use this link http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

How is CSE placement and packages in IIIT Agartala...I cant find much info in the web. But i know the classes are held at NIT Agartala until its construction is completed.

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 19th Nov, 2020

Hello!

Yes you heard it right that the classes of IIIT Agatala are taking place in NIT Agaratala until the construction of the campus is over. IIIT Agartala is a recently established and the first batch started in 2018, that is why you can not find much resources on the internet stating placement statistics of this college.

Well the placements  of CSE dept. in IIIT Agartala is maximum as compared to other departments. Many get internships from IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Mandi, IIT BHU etc and some got internship opportunities from Coal India, Sail, NTPC etc in their second year(of 2018 batch). Almost 60% of the students got placed in internships successfully in the year 2018 and it has considerably increased the next year.(The first placement will be done for the batch of 2018-2022). The highest salary package offered was of 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was of 4 LPA(of NIT Agaratala, the same companies will most probably conduct placements in IIIT Agartala for 2018 batch).

Hope this helps!

85 percentile obc koi college milega ya nahi

Kamal Kishor Chaurasiya 30th Sep, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You have obtained 85 percentile in JEE Main and belong to OBC category. The result has been released and you would have seen yours. Based on this percentile or rank your chances of getting admission in NITs or IIITs is very lesser. It would be better for you to apply for some private engineering colleges or participate in state counselling for getting admission in State government engineering colleges in states like Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh et cetra. You can predict your college and branch options based on this percentile or your rank by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps you.

is it necessary to have the same sign in college as same as in class 12 ,can we change our signature during college admissions

Raychel 29th Sep, 2020

Dear Applicant,

Your signature is like your very own identity unique to you, though is could ne changed but I would suggest you not to do so as signature play a significant role, it might confuse the authorities if they find different signatures. So try to not change it if possible. But yes you could change it. If possible try to keep a fixed signature as it can get handily changing repearepeatedly wont be good choice.

Note: the competent authority should be intimated about signature change and the changed signature should be incorporated in the documents of identity to prevent signature mismatch. You can have 2-3 signature that only belong to you
