First of all I am very proud to know that you are interested in appearing for defence exam.

As you know women can only apply for CDS OTA (Officer's Training Academy). And as of my research there is no extra benefits given to women compared to Men.

sorry to say you but you cannot enter in Indian Navy at account and Finance Department by cdac because the the age limit is upto 23 years. but in Indian Air Force if you appear in UPSC or AFCAT examination then you can join as accounts officers. hope

Hello student as yes you're eligible as your DOB is 7th May 1998.

Eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS says Candidates must not born before January 2 1997 and not after January 1 2002.

CDS examination is conducted every year twice for recruitment of officers to the defence forces after training at the respective academies (IMA, OTA, INA, AFA)
The exam consists of 3 papers: English, General Awareness and Mathematics. Candidates who opt for OTA are not required to appear in Mathematics paper.

Hello sir/maam I am 1995 born . My date of birth is 27 December. so here on this page I read replies of expert saying people born before 2nd jan 1996 are not eligible and some saying I am eligible till 25age for OTA (female) . May I know whether I am eligible or not for the CDS II 2020 . Regards .

Candidates who are born not earlier than July 2, 1996 and not later than July 1, 2002 are eligible.There isn't any limit to appear in CDS for OTA but age must be in between 19 years to 25 years.You may have more one chance to appear that is for
