Common Law Admission Test
Hello Aspirant
Congratulations as could do what many could not. As per your query, I would like you to inform that you could expect a seat alloted to you in second merit list. Hope this answer helps you with your query. All the best.
Hi Ayesha.
Congratulations on securing this score.
As you must be knowing, IP University admissions for the BA/BBA LLB programmes will be on basis the CLAT scores from this year. Candidates seeking admission into the undergraduate law programme need to appear in the Common Law Admission Test and qualify the same for being eligible for IPU counselling. They haven't yet released any cutoffs and this is the first time they will be conducting counselling on the basis of CLAT results so there aren't any previous year cutoffs available based on which I can give you any suggestions. The closing ranks and your chances of getting a college will depend on many factors like the number of seats available, the number of candidates who have applied, their ranks/score. This is a sensitive issue and it is better not to beat about the bush or give false hopes or information and thus the only suggestion I can give you is to wait. If you have any more queries then you can comment down here or post it in this platform.
Hope that helped.
All the best!
Hi Anurima,
Yes, you are absolutely correct and if at all any seat is left due to cancellation of admission immediately a vacant seat notification will be issued or in the subsequent round of counseling, Seat will be allotted to the students in contention.
Dear Aspirant,
As per the CLAT PG Eligibility Criteria 2019, a candidate needs to possess a bachelor’s degree in law. The degree of law programme should be approved by Bar Council of India. A candidate needs to score at least 55 percent in his/her qualifying L.L.B degree and the candidates belonging to reserved categories have 5 percent relaxation according to which they need to score 50 percent marks in their qualifying degree of law. Also, there is no age bar to appear in CLAT PG 2019 to seek admission into the postgraduate law programme.
Hope this helps.
Thank You.
Hi Jahnavi,
All the colleges accepting CLAT score will be allotting college on the basis of rank which you would have attained. Percentage is not what will be taken into account for considering your application. At clat.ac.in you will find list of the colleges also apart from NLUs which are accepting CLAT score.
