As per my knowledge TIET Patiala has got 180 seats for computer science and engineering. If you are thinking about it then it would be a nice choice. It has excellent infrastructure and decent placements. Placements: Approximately 90% of the cohort was placed in the computer science branch, with an average compensation package of 7 LPA. A software developer position is offered mostly.

Techno International Batanagar is a decent college in terms of placements (for CSE), however a lot during placements depends on the skills you harness. If I talk in numbers, on an average about 75-80% of the total number of candidates gets placed every year and the median salary is around 2.4-2.6 lpa.

So, my advice to you on this will be, do wait for the round 2 and round 3 as well as you will surely get better colleges in the subsequent rounds.

First of all congratulations for such a nice percentile...and also uh are eligible for jee advance. since your percentile is 93.7 , your expected rank will be somewhere around 65,000-70,000. With this rank your chances of admission into some nit are a bit less but you should definitely apply for the counselling and wait till the physical round of counselling . Also there are high chances of your admission in other state government colleges ....So you should definitely check the list of government colleges of your state and apply for the same.
