you are doing well .When you are want to take admission in Computer science engineering you must know the basic of IT field like C programming  ,HTML etc..but it is not mandatory .when students are came from 12th in Physics, Chemistry ,Math and Biology non IT background

Hello Aspirant, Top 20 percentile of any board is calculated by marks scored in five subjects which are

Maths

Chemistry

Physics

Language subject

Any subject other than physics, chemistry, Maths, language paper


So you can't neglected chemistry while calculating top 20 percentile.
But if you have two language paper then
