It is difficult  to get CS branch in NITs but you can apply for good private universities or institutes who are taking their own entrance exam and having their own admission criteria like:

MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

IILM UNIVERSITY,GURUGRAM

LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY

According to 2019 Mock round Counselling of KCET, a rank of 25356 secured a seat in CS branch. We do not have the KCET 2019 Cut off list for Engineering. But this is 2019 and Mock Counselling cut off list. But since 2019, there must have been few Engineering Colleges

Hi dear!! Hope you are doing well!! If you aaj in terms of placement, then Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering college is a lot better then KIET Group of institutes  in terms of placement and other opportunities in college. Faculty wise also AKGEC has much more experienced and supportive faculty. CS

Generally cutoffs changes every year as it depends upon various factors like difficulty level of the paper, number of students appearing for the paper, performance of the students in the exam, etc.
