I got 177922 AIR rank in jee mains and 9293 sc category rank and from haryana. Do I have the chance to got any north NIT in csab counselling.

Piyush 29th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant ,

With your above scored rank in sc category , you might get any branch in any colleges in csab special round councelling but you chances are very thin as your rank is likely to be very less . The cutoff vary from every year .

Analysing this year cutoff trends , you can not get any of the top NITs , GFTIs as your rank is low . However , you can get some low NITs , IIITs , or GFTIs like Srinagar, nagaland etc .

According to your rank , You can get some gftis in csab special round counseling, like mizoram university ( civil engineering) or school of engineering tezpur university ( electrical engineering) or sant longwal institute of engineering and technology ( food technology, mechanical engineering ), etc.

For more information , you can check the below article :

Also , you can check the college predictor tool to know your admission probability in other colleges according to your rank :

I hope that this will help.

csab counselling seat allotment based on crl rank or category rank

pri111nah 28th Nov, 2021

Hi,

  • In CSAB counselling irrespective of the category, it is CRL rank which is considered.
  • Difference is just that CSAB is for filling the Vacant seats. In CSAB you get less time for reporting.

In CSAB Special Rounds the vacant home state seats are converted into all india quota seats, i.e the seats become open to all. Here, in CSAB rounds the CRL Rank is considered rathar than that of Category Rank.

However, the reservation seats are to be filled up by the reserved candidates and not by General/UR. The Rank may go very below for SC/ST/OBC candidates than that of UR candidates.

According to 2021 CSAB VACANCIES LIST. Will 2021 csab cutoff increase this year comparing to 2020 csab cutoff ??

Akshant Prakash 2nd Dec, 2021

Dear candidate,

Yes we can say that the cutoff will increase this year in csab as comparing to the year 2020. We can simply say this because seats in the nits and gftis have been increased and also more no. of seats are empty.

my sister got 310767 crl rank in mains .is there any chance of getting cse in nits or iiits through CSAB round (even through 40k ews rank and as a female candidate).if not then any other branches?

ayanmukherjee045 28th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As per your rank which 3.1L  in JEE mains and considering you are from ews category and you are aiming for nits/IITs cse branch so let me tell you it's quite difficult to get cse in any college.

I would recommend you to go for gftis like kongri Vishwavidyalaya, Assam University, guru ghasidas bilaspur. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Krishna Agarwal 28th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

It does not matter whether you upload your caste certificate of state or center but it needs to be valid and authorized by a District level officer. So your certificate is valid for JEE.

can you please send me the choice filling for electrical branch in csab round with my crl rank 168160 and my category is obc ncl and home state bihar...

Piyush 27th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

With the above crl rank , the chances for you to get admission in any top colleges in CSAB special round councelling are quite less as the csab special round counseling is strictly done on basis of CRL ranks for every category.

However , with 168160 crl rank in obc category , you can get some other low colleges with other branches as well.

You can check the following link to know the cutoff trends and more about csab special round counselling rounds :
