can I get admission through CSAB while having 2.2 Lakh rank in Jee main? if not then which college should I get admission. I want to take Btech Cs,it,AI.

Hello,

Chances are very low for you to get the branches, you have mentioned through CSAB in any of the NIT+ system unless you do not belong to reserved category, though you can admission in the state government colleges, by appearing in your home state councelling.

If we didnt get any seat in CSAB special rounds , they will return registration fees by cutting 2000 ???

If a student didn't get his/her seat in CSAB round then the registration fees will be refunded by the following rules:

Candidates who chose to withdraw allotted seat in JoSAA counselling and do not want to participate in the special round are entitled for the refund of seat allotment fee

How will seats be alloted in csab special round which is announced now ?Will it be based on jeemain rank? Is there in chance for me to get a seat with general rank 1,20,000? Why are they asking for seperate registration?

Dear student,

Csab - central seat allocation board, is responsible for filling the vacant seats in nits or iiits or gftis or iiest, after the josaa counseling is over.

Now, after josaa counseling, nearly 7430 seats are vacant, as per the vacant seat matrix released by CSAB.

i got eie in josaa and also participating in CSAB but am confused about my 3rd preference should i put EE or not as, if i am allotted a seat in EE then my EIE will get cancelled is EE>EIE or EIE>EE

Hi there
According to me, EEE Would be better because EIE is a specialised branch of EEE, you'll learn electrical more in EEE rather than EIE and EEE mainly focused on measuring instruments used in the design and configuration of automated systems. There is basically control circuitry in EIE.

So, to answer your question, if you mean that you have been allotted a certain branch in a certain college in the normal rounds of counseling, and you are not satisfied with that branch and that's why you want to get it changed

Dear student,

As you have secured 25000 rank in sc category in jee mains then your crl rank must be around near about 390000.

So, with this much high sc category rank you can't get any iiits or nits or gftis in whole csab counseling not even from your home

No, csab is not risky even if you got seat in Jossa round.. You will have to make an affidavit for for retention of seat which you got in jossa round, and then you will be able to participate in csab round without loosing your seat..

Are open category vacant seats to be given in csab are for all categories or only for general category???

Dear student,

Open category means open to all categories. It is not reserved only for general candidates, it is open to candidates from different categories.
In open category seat, anyone can apply for that seat, either he/she is general or obc or ews or pws o r sc or st.

For CSAB registration we have to pay 35,000 and 2000 non refundable,if didnt get any seat in that counseling.will that 35,000 be refund?

The refund rules for CSAB are as follows:

Candidates who chose to withdraw allotted seat in JoSAA counselling and do not want to participate in the special round are entitled for the refund of seat allotment fee with a deduction of Rs. 1, 200.
