i am not sure of branch change in csab ,do i need to apply for it
Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
So, to answer your question, if you mean that you have been allotted a certain branch in a certain college in the normal rounds of counseling, and you are not satisfied with that branch and that's why you want to get it changed in the CSAB round, then it's not very likely to happen. Although the probability ain't zero but the chances are very less for that to happen because it totally depends on the availability of vacant seats in the top colleges. So definitely, if the college you want has vacant seats for the branch that you want, you can get a seat if your rank is good enough.
Although if you get a college through CSAB, and you get admission there with the allotted branch, then according to the rules of CSAB ,There will be no any change in the branch after taking admission.
You can get more information in their official site:

Hope this helps you. Good Luck !!

Hello,
If you feel that you can get the better college/branch then you have at present, then you should definitely go for it. Sometimes due to large number of vacant seats, even students of less rank, fetch very good college.
Please go through the guidelines of CSAB carefully.
