are there any placement opportunities in modern law college pune for 3 year llb And Dr.D Y Patil law college pimpri, pune

Abhilasha Agrawal 31st Aug, 2025

Modern Law College, Pune offers limited placements for 3-year LLB, with only a few students placed and average packages around 2 LPA. Some exceptional placements go up to 5–7 LPA, but opportunities are not consistent. In contrast, Dr. D.Y. Patil Law College, Pimpri has an active placement cell, with average packages of 4 LPA and highest around 8 LPA. It provides workshops, internships, and career support. Student reviews suggest placements are better at D.Y. Patil than Modern Law College, though self-effort is still important.

hi I have secured 3491 rank belong to BCB category did not get seat in phase 1 for MG law college will I have a chance in phase 2 if not what other colleges should I choose

Ankur Mehta 30th Aug, 2025

Hey, with a rank of 3491 in the BCB category, it’s understandable that you didn’t get a seat in Phase 1 at MG Law College. There is still a chance in Phase 2 depending on how many seats remain vacant after the first round. From previous years’ trends, the closing ranks for BCB category students at MG Law have varied widely, and your rank seems to fall within that range.

Make sure you register and participate in Phase 2 counselling, and keep checking the official website regularly for seat updates. At the same time, it’s smart to consider other good law colleges in Telangana in case MG Law doesn’t work out. Some options you could look at are Padala Rama Reddy Law College, Pendekanti Law College, Sultan-Ul-Uloom College of Law, KV Ranga Reddy Law College, and even University College of Law, Osmania University.

I got 189 rank in lawcet 2025 and i belong to bc-e category minority and local candidate can i get osmania university College of law

Ankur Mehta 29th Aug, 2025

Hey! With your TS LAWCET 2025 rank of 189, being a BC-E category and a local candidate, you have a very good chance of getting admission in Osmania University College of Law for the 5-year LLB program. Generally, for BC-E candidates, the cutoff ranks are higher compared to general category, and being a local candidate adds an extra advantage under the home-state quota. Based on previous trends, your rank is well within the expected range for this category. Of course, the exact seat allotment will depend on the counseling rounds and seat availability, but overall, you are in a strong position. I would recommend keeping track of the official counseling dates, applying on time, and participating actively in the process to ensure you secure a seat. Given your rank and category, chances are very favorable for you to join this college.

i am jayanaryan fro agra uttar pradesh. loking for admission in phd law. i passed netr exam june 25. pls tell me about seat, fees and how to get admission in your university

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 29th Aug, 2025

Congrats on clearing NET June 2025 that makes you eligible for Ph.D. in Law admissions. Now most universities accept NET scores directly (70% weightage) plus an interview (30%), so you don’t usually need another entrance test. For example, RPNLU Prayagraj offers Ph.D. seats purely on NET basis, while NLU Delhi still requires AILET-Ph.D. (apply Aug–Nov, exam in Dec). Fees vary widely, from about 17k a year in some central universities to 2–3 lakh total in NLUs like NLSIU. Your next step is to shortlist universities, check their notifications, and apply with your NET score.

I got 16141 rank, Shall I get a set in any where in TN law colleges. Thanks!

Ankur Mehta 26th Aug, 2025

Hello, With a rank of 16141 in the Tamil Nadu Law Admission process, getting a seat in top government law colleges might be difficult, since their cutoffs usually close at much lower ranks. Government law colleges in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, and Coimbatore generally fill up quickly with candidates below 8000–10000 ranks. However, this does not mean you are out of options. You still have a fair chance of securing a seat in self-financing law colleges or private institutions that are affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. Many of these colleges admit students with higher ranks during later rounds of counseling, especially if seats remain vacant. You should carefully track each counseling round, as rank cutoffs fluctuate depending on the number of applicants, reservation category, and seat availability. If your goal is simply to secure admission to pursue law, private colleges remain a strong option. Also, consider keeping backup choices ready in case government college admission does not work out.
