Data Science
Hello Aspirant
Both of these courses are amazing and have a great potential in coming future.
If I talk about bsc in maths honours than its a really tough course, and gives you careers options like teaching, government sector and some chances in corporate sector.
Whereas btech in data science will give you ample opportunities in corporate sector to boost up. Also the current era belong to data science so I'll suggest that you should go for data science as it's having huge potential and your starting salary of your career will be really good.
I hope this information would be helpful for you.
All the best for your bright career ahead
Hi,
More than better prospects in future, you should look into your interest. As these both fields are demanding now-a-days. Since, you are a mechanical engineer, SAP should be a natural choice as it is more related to your field and deals with supply chain management and related things. However data science is one of the most sought after field currently. If you have interest in coding as well as mathematics, you can also choose data science.
Thank you
Dear Student,
Below are the colleges which offers B.Tech in data science and engineering course
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur
BITS Pilani
Indian Institute of Technology,Mandi
Great Lakes Institute of Management
Vellore Institute of Technology,vellore
Apart from these you can try online platforms for learning data science
All of them are the latest and growing subjects of the era. You should definitely go for these options. The scope of Machine Learning is wide and ranging but Artificial intelligence is the new rock. Even data science can you get you in high position but the concepts of AI and Machine learning is the future and will take the new out of you. You will be one of the few people who would help in bringing a new century.
Hello yash hooda , From some research on internet I found that Btech+Mtech in IT from IITM Gwalior is quite better than YMCA Faridabad in term of infrastructure and all. And here study is also good and you got integrated degree also so it is more better.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Dear Rahul ,
Yes ,you can start learning but it will take some time with you will face little bit top because you are not the background of IT/CS .First of all you start from the basics things like little bit coding knowledge or you can start from the python coding basic then only you can go through the Data science because data science is a vast course it includes so many things such as Machine learning ,artificial intelligence, python and so many things so you have to start from the basic .
If you will early gain knowledge then your future will bright because now days and upcoming days data science is most demanding with highly opportunities .
Think posting and do your work .
Thanks
Hello Rahul!
Before answering which course you can choose, let me differentiate between data science and data analyst fields based on certain criteria:
Data science is a field of computer science that deals with interpretation, analysis, extracting useful information and applying the results and conclusions of it to enhance the business outcome. Data science requires strong technical background, and a knowledge in fields like Big data, ML and ofcourse mathematics is very much needed. Data scientists have highly demand and also are very well paid.
Data analysts, on the other hand do not require too much of technical background. The main role of a data analyst is to analyse the huge data and draw conclusions from it. They require more business skills and need to be able to effectively comminicate their findings to others. usually they are less paid than data scientists on an average.
Now, before choosing data science or data analyst course, it is important to learn coding. Without coding, you cannot succeed in either of the courses. Preferable programming languages common to both courses is python. Python is easy to learn, however, it is recommended to learn a core language like C, C++ or java. After gaining knowledge in programming and algorithms, you can decide which course to take as per your interest.
All the best!
