According to IIT BHILAI placements statistics Highest salary offered is 20 LPA while Average salary offered is 11+ LPA and this is for whole college in all branches.Due to lack of data of different branche we can not compare on that but by considering the previous year analysis and trends Data Science and Artificial students generally got 5 to 12 lakhs package while CS students always get paid above that range according to their skills.

There are two types of GRE:

• GRE General Test: Consists of Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical writing skills
• GRE Subject Test: Consists of Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology

You need not choose the subjects. They will already be included in the exam paper. Exam duration: 3 hours, 45 minutes. Number of questions in the subject test: 188 multiple-choice questions.

So lets quickly review Artificial Intelligence,Machine Learning and Data Science:

Artificial Intelligence: Human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.

Machine Learning: It  gives ability to automatically learn and and improve their performance by themselves.

Data Science: It is the study of Data, in order to gain some knowledge from it.

Now, coming to your question which has scope in industry -

To be honest, all three are used mostly together nowadays, so even if you are a Data Scientist, you will most likely be working more on ML . So if you mainly want to know which would be a better area , following  is what I suggest:

1. AI requires ML, and ML requires Data Science. So learn the basics of Data Science and ML .Programming as well as theory is quite easy which would be completed using  practice and right guidance
2. Next,   Machine Learning for AI, but according to me data science is most efficient . Data science is the latest trend, and it has a lot of scope. This will take more time, considering the theory and the programming that you need to learn and practice. But once you get the hand on it,  you will be able to get better job opportunities and do better in it.
3. You may also complete certifications from well known institutes or may prefer online courses.

The placements opportunities in M.Tech in Computational and Data Science are pretty good as there are companies like: Adobe, Amazon, CapGemini, Myntra, Microsoft, Deloitte, Wipro, JP Morgan Chase, VISA, Oracle, etc. visiting the campus in order to recruit the students. The average salary offered is INR 7 Lakhs per annum.

IIT Bhilai Data Science and AI sounds more interesting with excellent scope of research and career prospects in future. Institute being new  having excellent Faculty, Outlook and brand new Infrastructure in development, besides the IIT Tag, will always give impetus to fire opportunities towards you. According to placement drive both the colleges are same as their placement statistics are somewhat same.

IIIT Lucknow:

Highest salary offered - 28 LPA

Average salary offered - 11.37 LPA

IIT BHILAI:

Highest salary offered - 20 LPA

Average salary offered - 11+ LPA

But the sad part is that both the colleges not able to secure rank under NIRF.Although if we took infrastructure as consideraion IIIT Lucnow is better as it is opened before IIT Bhilai.

Hence my recommendation will be IIIT LUCKNOW but the end choice is your according to your priorities.

It only depends on your choice. However data science and cyber security both are good branches. They are specialization in CSE. Many colleges provide courses in it. Cyber security deals with cyber crime and data science deals with data analysis. Hope it will be helpful.

Both these are good and have their own value. But Data Science is demand on Now-a-days so I will suggest you to go with Data Science engineering. Soon after the completion of your graduation degree you will crack good package in Data science engineering.

I think you are asking a wrong question, there is no point of difference between Data System and data science as they are both different sector things. One is technology and the other is the storage of technology driven things. You ask the difference between Data Science and Big Data or  between Data Science and Data Analytics or between Big Data and Data Analytics.
