Data Scientist
Dear aspirant,
Both the careers are technical branches and so if you are initially data scientist and you want to switch your career to artificial intelligence so let me be very clear with you.
It would definitely be a tough one to choose because you need to learn things all over again related to artificial intelligence and data scientist basically deals with numbers.
Hi there!
Hope you are doing fine.
Data scientist are the analytic data experts who use data for input, followed by processing that Data for generating algorithmically driven results.
Demand of data scientist are increasing day by day.
To become a data scientist, you can apy for data scientist's course. The eligibility for various data scientist courses are as follows:
10+2 (science or maths background) passed out from a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 45% for B.Sc. level courses and 50% for B.Tech. and other professional courses.
It may be 60-65% for top universities like IIT OR NIT.
The admission process is based on: 12th merit, JEE main scorecard or other specific entrance exams.
Courses of Data science:
Bsc in programming & data science
Bachelor of data science
Bachelor of technology in computer science
Bechelor of AI &Data science
Btech in AI
Post graduate diploma in data science
post graduate program in data science
Post graduate program in data science & engineering
Mtech data science & AI
PGDM (big data analyst)
Leadership through analytics and decision science
MBA (data science & data analytics)
Data science & engineering graduate certification program (big data and visual analytics)
Some of these courses are available online also.
Other qualities of a data scientist are: y ou should be proficient in English speaking and writing and understanding.
Gain a well-versed knowledge of databases and computer languages.
Expand knowledge in visualization, reporting and data munching.
I wish it helps you. Stay safe.
All the best!!!!
Hi,
Although both R and Python programming language are beneficial to become a data scientist but it is not necessary to learn R programming language if you have knowledge of Python programming language.
Python is most widely used in this field and the best language to learn if you want to become a data scientist. It is open source and easy to use and will grab you with the most job opportunities.
Whereas, R programming language is also open source but is typically used for statistical computing and graphics and it is more complex to learn as compared to Python.

Hi aspirants
I think you want to know how to became data scientist. Data scientists is one of the highest paying job.
if you are 12th you can write entrance exam such as BITSAT, JEE, SRM etc
otherwise you can purse any bachelor degree in BSC computer science, B. tech computer science, B. Tech data science and Engineering, B. tech artificial intelligence and machine learning or bachelor in statistics.
have some internship related to data science company .This will lead you a bright way.

hope this Helps
GOOD LUCK!
Well a data analyst is a person who analyses millions of data to extract useful data and information and data scientist is the job where people decide new inventions and methods to make the role and duties of data analyst more easy. If you want then you can go for either of them depending on your choice of interest. Also doing a B.Tech is always better because enginnering is a professional degree course as compared to bsc which is academic and getting good placements are a must when doing engineering as compared to bsc.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
As you have mentioned that you want to become a data scientist so the career option which bsc computer science statistics as data science is purely based on numbers and you have to analyse the data so it would be a better option for your future.
Along with these you have to get hold in other topics also such as machine learning basics , SQL, python, advanced Excel and you also need to have some understanding of deep learning.
yes, BSC computer science statistics is useful to become data scientist. data scientist is one of the highest paying job. In order to become data scientist you have to have degree in IT, computer science, artificial intelligence, Bachelor in statistics.

See after BSc getting a job is very fussy. Although you can try but as you said you want to become Data Scientist then you have to data science. Now for that you can do a MSc in Data Science or Mathematical Statistics.
There is a exam called IIT JAM which offers admission to Mathematical Statistics MSc course in IIT;s which you can pursue. As you know IIT's have great placement cells as well as you will get the knowledge from the best of the teachers in India. Also your dream of Data Science will come under this.
The second option is Master of Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute. The MStat program is really a unique and imparts a lot of knowledge in computational statistics. You can become the part of the fatternity of the best of the mathematicians in India as well as you can fulfil your dream of being a Data Scientist.
Now if you want to go for Data Science then you can pursue MSc Data Science course offers by some of the colleges in India like Chennai Mathematical Institute, Ramkrishna Mission College etc.
Also you can go for MCA courses with specialization in Data Science. Now depending on your interest you have to choose the pathways. There are a infinite possibility of ways to be a data scientist, I mentioned some of the most certain ways to be one.
MAC didn't have any data available online for BSc Mathematics Placements but as per the official the companies visiting the college are:
I would recommend you to keep in mind about the MSc because getting a job after BSc is quite uncertain.
Some of the universities offering MSc Data Science:
