is it easy to prepare gor upsc being an data scientist or artifical intelligence engineeror any other software job if you are a software employee in any plaform like data science or AI engineer or any other. How much free time do you get

shreyakhedkar05 29th Jul, 2021
Hello,

Yes, you can prepare well for the UPSC even if you are working. software engineers mostly have work from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.But despite this, you can prepare well for civil services.  you just need to be good at time management. Before starting your office work you need to take out at least 2 hours for General studies. Then during breaks, you can read important news headlines or current affairs.

After your work hour take a 1-1.5hr break Then devote 2 hours to the optional subject then before going to bed revise whatever you have learned the whole day. Practice this daily. Initially, it will feel hectic but after some days it will become part of your routine.

Hope this will help!!

ayanmukherjee045 25th Jul, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Both the careers are technical branches and so if you are initially data scientist and you want to switch your career to artificial intelligence so let me be very clear with you.

It would definitely be a tough one to choose because you need to learn things all over again related to artificial intelligence and data scientist basically deals with numbers.

Hello Everyone i want to become a Data Scientist and I have some basic knowledge of Python programming language. Now in so many data science course they are teaching R programming. Is it necessary to learn R programming rather than Python ? please help

Kritika Chopra 5th Jul, 2021

Hi,

Although both R and Python programming language are beneficial to become a data scientist but it is not necessary to learn R programming language if you have knowledge of Python programming language.

Python is most widely used in this field and the best language to learn if you want to become a data scientist. It is open source and easy to use and will grab you with the most job opportunities.

Whereas, R programming language is also open source but is typically used for statistical computing and graphics and it is more complex to learn as compared to Python.

I want to become a data scientist which is better for my future? data analyst or data scientist? Should i choose B.Tech in data science or B.Sc in data science

anirudha vats 4th Jul, 2021

Hi,

Well a data analyst is a person who analyses millions of data to extract useful data and information and data scientist is the job where people decide new inventions and methods to make the role and duties of data analyst more easy. If you want then you can go for either of them depending on your choice of interest. Also doing a B.Tech is always better because enginnering is a professional degree course as compared to bsc which is academic and getting good placements are a must when doing engineering as compared to bsc.

I hope this helps.

All the best.
