Data Scientist
Hello,
Data science is perhaps the most in-demand profession of the twenty-first century. Everyone in today's high-tech world has pressing questions that "big data" must answer. There is an almost endless quantity of data that can be processed, evaluated, and utilised for a variety of reasons, from companies to non-profit organisations to government entities.
To become a data scientist, consider the following three steps:
Education qualification required
There are several pathways to a career in data science, but it is very hard to get into the industry without a college background. A four-year bachelor's degree is required at the very least. Keep in mind, however, that 73 percent of industry professionals have a master's degree and 38 percent have a doctorate.
Data science degrees are available at certain colleges, which is an obvious choice. This degree will teach you how to handle and analyse a large amount of data and will include a lot of technical material on statistics, computers, and analytic methodologies, among other things. Most data science courses will also include a creative and analytical component, allowing you to make decisions based on your findings.

Data analyst & data scientist :
Both are best. They are high paying jobs in 2021. Both the roles work with data. but in different ways.
Data analyst work with structured data to solve business prblms using tools like data visualization software,SQL& statistical analysis.
Data scientist deals with unknown. Using more techniques. This is more advanced version of data analyst.
Data analyst requires atleast bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or finance. For data scientist degree in IT, Statistics data science.
Thankyou
For data scientist mathematics is not necessary to be part of your education like whole mathematics. But in your subject you need to face with mathematics. Like you have to learn some basic mathematics and statistical mathematics. Which is much needed in data analyst or scientist. Because it's main work also included numerical so you have to know that very well.
All the best.
You can be a data scientist or analyst after BCA or MCA. But you need to proper degree for this. You can go for PGDM in data analytics after completing your graduation in BCA. Then you can learn more about data analyst and become a data analyst or scientist. Also you can do some data analyst or phyton degree or certified course after completing your BCA or MCA degree. Then you will gain more knowledge about it. And apply for companies as data analyst or data scientist.
Hi,
You need to pursue Mtech focused on Data Science to have a responsible career in future. You've already pursued a bachelor's in Computer science so you are very well skilled in Web development, Data structure and algorithm and have some good projects. For becoming A data scientist you should have good practice in Python, R languages along with a deep knowledge of Machine learning as well.

All The Best!!
Hi Aspirant,
BSc in Mathematical Science is a great step for your journey as Data Scientist. It will also be a great step to learn Data Structures and do competitive programming. Now keeping it short let me tell what is needed to be a Data Scientist:
Data Scientist = Mathematics + Statistics + Programming language + Machine Learning and AI + Analytical Skills.
And for jobs in the current scenario, a lot of software engineers and mathematicians have self-taught themselves to fit into the role of data scientist. Many companies including big firms and startups are coming up with the openings of data science, and this seems to be the right time to dive into the field.
