WILL I REQUIRE DELHI DOMICILE FOR ADDMISSION IN MAULANA AZAD AEDICAL COLLEGE (MAMC) THROUGH STATE QUOTA?

Priya Bansal 19th Sep, 2021

Hello Manan!

Yes you need to have Delhi domicile, which is basically documents proving you have completed your 11th and 12th from a school situated in Delhi. Otherwise you will have to apply via the All India Quota.

The same applies for all the other medical colleges in Delhi as well.

Wishing you the best of luck!

I get 66k rank in jee main in OBC category and i am domicile of Jharkhand can i get addmission in BIT Sindri?

Ayush Roy 19th Sep, 2021

Hello Harsh. You mentioned you belong to OBC-NCL category, you are a domicile of Jharkhand and want to know your chances to get admission at BIT Sindri, Dhanbad. Well, it is quite difficult to predict whether you have chances to get admission at BIT Sindri, Dhanbad as every year cutoff changes significantly. All I say is for getting admission in this college, one must secure around 86 percentile in JEE mains, if he/she belongs to OBC category while if someone desires to grab a seat at trending streams like ECE, CSE or EEE, his/her percentile should be around at least 95 (for General) and 90 (for OBC).

Nevertheless, I have provided the list of 2020 JEE Main Cutoff Rank (prescribed for admission to various streams for OBC candidates) below:

  1. Chemical Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 112091
  2. Civil Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 100457
  3. Computer Science and Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 53779
  4. Electrical Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 72883
  5. Electronics and Communication Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 64831
  6. Information Technology - Cutoff Rank - 58871
  7. Mechanical Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 81896
  8. Metallurgical Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 91702
  9. Mining Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 102622
  10. Production Engineering - Cutoff Rank - 120508

Please note that all the mentioned cutoff ranks are All India CRL Ranks of JEE (Main) 2020.

If we follow this above table and compare them with your grade card then it is less likely for you to get admission at BIT Sindri, Dhanbad as your performance is not up to the mark.

I have also listed the JEE-Main 2021 cutoffs required to be marked as qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 below :

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile
  • PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

sir, my domicile is Bihar and I belong to EWS category my neet marks is 400 please suggest any medical college whose fee is minimal.

AKASH BARMAN 19th Sep, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Based on your marks in it and mentioned category detail, you might not get any seat for MBBS in Government Medical Colleges at Bihar as-per last year's cut-off.

Although you have a good chance to get seat in some private colleges too under management quota as per your marks. But the fee might not be minimal as you are expecting to get.

For more detailed inspection and to take the actual collage selection more seriously use this NEET College Predictor Tool :

i have got 97.2 percentage in cbse class 12th. please suggest me some govt colleges that accept merit score for admission in btech. domicile UP, general female

Akshita Dhiman 10th Aug, 2021

Hi there,

It is unlikely that you will be able to get a seat in a government college on the basis of just your 12th marks. The admission in government colleges are either based on your JEE main, advanced or UPCET score. Some colleges also conduct their own entrance examination to admit candidates.

You could however try for management quota seats in private colleges.

To access the list of colleges access the link below:

Government Engineering Colleges in Uttar Pradesh 2021 – Courses, Fees, Admission, Rank (careers360.com)

Private Engineering Colleges in Uttar Pradesh 2021 – Courses, Fees, Admission, Rank (careers360.com)

I hope this information helps.

Thank you.

in neet 2021 my result 490 in gen my domicile is west bengal i need mbbs seat its possible

riteshkandpal499 18th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 108736 - 140886  but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the rank predictor
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

so the cut off for general category in state quota in west bengal for year 2019 was
1.Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Bankura - 540 marks
2. Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Kolkata - 580 marks
3. Medical College, Kolkata - 614 marks
4.Nilratan Sircar Medical College, Kolkata - 591
And the last cut off was 519 marks so you have less chance to get mbbs govt ollege under state quota for general category but you can get dental or pvt medical college
You can check the previous year cut off marks from the link given below
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal
You can use college predictor tool too know about the colleges you can get

Good luck.
Hope it helps

Im getting around 590 in neet 2021...obc category.... uttar pradesh domicile.. please suggest some government medical Colleges in which i can enroll.....

Ayush Roy 18th Sep, 2021

Hello Priya. I hope you are in good health and you have given your best to successfully crack NEET UG 2021. You mentioned you belong to OBC-NCL category. Well, based on your marks, your overall percentile may end up somewhere around 97.96 - 98.46 while your AIR may lie somewhere around 28531 - 39681.

Well, it is quite difficult to predict exactly in which medical colleges you get chance. Although based on your performance you have good chance to grab a seat for MBBS (and BDS) via All India Counselling as well as State Counselling at several government medical colleges such as:

  1. Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra ( may get )
  2. Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi
  3. Baba Raghavdas Medical College, Gorakhpur
  4. Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah.
  5. Govt. Medical College, Badaun
  6. Govt. Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida
  7. Autonomous Medical College, Ayodhya
  8. Autonomous Medical College, Basti
  9. Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich
  10. Govt. Medical College, Ambedkarnagar
  11. Govt. Medical College, Kannauj
  12. DMIMSU - Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha, Maharashtra ( Outside Home State)

i am a gm female candidate from karnataka domicile. my neet 2021 score predict is 224. are there chances of me getting admission in medical college

Kuheli Sanyal 18th Sep, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year data, with 224 marks you can get a rank between 528700-552229. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

Last year the cut off rank for medical colleges through Karnataka State Quota Counselling under GM category was around 80000. So it is difficult for you to get a medical college. The cut off for dental colleges was around 3 lakh, so it is difficult for you to get a dental seat in Karnataka as well.

However, you can get management quota seats in deemed universities through All India Counselling for Deemed Universities. You can get the following colleges -

  • Dr DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai
  • Shri Sathya Sai Medical College, Kancheepuram
  • Meenakshi Medical College Chennai

To know more about the colleges in which you can get a MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp
