How much i want to score for get Karwar institute of Medical sciences Clg Category:S.C Domicile : Karnataka Rural

Rohit K Bhat 8th Aug, 2021

Hello dear Nitin

The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc.

In order to get admission into Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences, the minimum score in NEET examination was around 272 in the year 2018 and 346 in they year 2019. The mentioned cutoff marks are for Scheduled Category (SC) candidates belonging to Karnataka Domicile (i.e. SCK).

You can have a detailed look at the Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences cutoff trends from the link provided below.

My rank is 8k can i go for techno india for cse and i am non domicile of West Bengal. Any government college accepting outside state student??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th Aug, 2021

Hi

Other state students are not eligible for government aided colleges in wbjee . West Bengal domicile requirement is there for seat in Government aided colleges and 90 % of general seats for Jadavpur University( 10% seats are open for other state for Jadavpur University). Also other state students are not eligible for reservation i. e OBC/ST/SC etc.

You don't need to worry Techno are private colleges

This is very difficult to predict because cut off  keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

--------) number of students that appeared in the WBJEE exam

--------)difficulty level of the WBJEE examination

--------)Kind of marks obtained by the students in the WBJEE exam

--------) number of students from different categories etc

But yes,

With your 8k rank

On the basis wbjee 2019, round 3 cut off data , you have low  chances for computer science in Techno salt lake-

  • Techno Main - Salt LLake:- 5142

But you have good chances for computer science in following TECHNO college

  • Techno India University:- 10096

  • Techno International - Batanagar:- 65858

  • Techno International - New Town:- 19741

  • Techno Engineering College - Banipur:- 80140

And a few more

As per past year cut off available at Official website :- https://admissions.nic.in/wbjeebcouns2019/wbjeebcouns2019/orcr/PrevYearORCR.aspx

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our WBJEE college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your , your gender etc the link for  WBJEE  college predictor is provided below

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

I passed 12th from Delhi Govt School and My Home town is UP, So which states domicile should I made and I get admission in medical college in less marks.

Shja 4th Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

It depends on where you live. If you live in UP then your domicile will be of UP and if you live in Delhi then your domicile should be of Delhi. It doesn't matter where your hometown is. It's about where you live. Domicile certificate of a state can actually help you get admission in a good college in that particular state.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck

Does the student has to be a domicile of Karnataka for admission in medical courses in COMEDK colleges? What is the complete process for admission inCOMEDK colleges ?

Shja 4th Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

No, not at all. It's not necessary for you to have domicile of Karnataka. Anyone in the country can appear for COMEDK exam. Karnataka students get benefited at the time of admissions because the cut offs are lower for them when compared to cut offs for students who don't live in Karnataka. State students get preference but it's not like you can't even appear for examination. Your cut offs will be released seperately.

Hope this Helps!

I passed my 10th ,12th standard from Gujarat but my domicile and caste certificate (sc) made from u.p than if I want to give upsee than in which category I have to apply and in upsee(up) they will count me in house state student or other state.

TEJAL SINHA 24th Jun, 2021

Hey Aspirant!

No, two different domicile doesn't create much difference. It only acts as a tool to provide you with some leniency. For instance, if your domicile is somewhere in Madhya Pradesh, then you will be favoured during admission into colleges that are in Madhya Pradesh itself but outside, this won't help you much.

So choose whichever domicile deems you best. You can choose it on the basis of your comfort, preference, your desired colleges and more. However, keep in mind that once chosen, you cannot change your domicile if, given a chance to create changes in your application.

All the best!

Can I have 2 domicile certificate one of delhi and another from bihar as i was born in bihar and have completed schooling from delhi? If not then which state should I prefer for domicile certificate ?

Akash Singh 23rd Jun, 2021

Dear Akshita,

You should not have domicile certificate of two states and doing it is known to be an offence. In a simple language you think that how can a person live in two States/UT.

Domicile certificate is normally issued to a person to verify that he/she is the resident of that area and the domicile certificate is given to avail educational concessions and benefits in institutions, government services and also some jobs which are only for local people of a particular state.

Now as you said you are born in Bihar but your schooling of 11th and 12th from Delhi, so you are supposed to have domicile of Delhi according to rules. And not only this, some institutes like NITs, IITs strictly have policy that student's home-state will be considered as that state from where she/he has done completed 12th board.

I hope this information helps you.
