can i get admission in DMC Punjab in government quota but i am not having punjab domicile

Shefadaar 16th Oct, 2020

Hello there!

It would have been much better if you had mentioned your NEET score and Category too, in this question.

Anyways, you can get any college irrespective of your domicile through All India Quota Counselling process. As far as Dayanand Medical College , Punjab is concerned, if you have enough marks to qualify the required cut off, then surely you can secure a seat in this college.

Hope this answer resolves your query.

I got 569 marks in neet 2020.Is there any chance of getting govt mbbs college in bihar. My category general state domicile bihar???

Kuheli Sanyal 3rd Oct, 2020

Hey,

With 569 marks, you may get a rank around 16173-19478. You can check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

Based on previous year cut off, it is difficult for you to get a government medical seat in Bihar under 85% State Quota. Last the cut for general category was 577. But you will get a seat in the private medical colleges in Bihar as their cut off for general category was 420 last year. To know more about Bihar cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

It is important to keep in mind that cut off changes every year, depending on a number of factors such as the number of seats available and the total number of qualified candidates.

Is a kerala domicile student who had completed 11th and 12th abroad (GCC country) eligible for self financing colleges under management quota (85% seat) in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu? (Not NRI quota)

iammohdshareef 12th Nov, 2020

If the student has domicile of Kerala, he can apply for Management Quota of Private Medical Colleges of Karnataka, Tamilnadu. But he will not be able to exercise the rights of his Category. He will have to apply for counseling only under General Category or Open merit. Which means if the Student has domicile of Kerala and belongs to OBC/EWS/SC/ST, he cannot use any of these reservations if he wants to participate in State Counselings of Karnataka and Tamilnadu. He has to apply under General Category only.
