Well it depends on how the state counselling goes as well as the all India counselling.

Like if you are the decendent of the same state then it might be possible to get the seat at the very first counselling or else after few rounds it will be allocated. 

But as per the previous JOSAA list, chances are quite high.

The expected jee main 2019 cutoff for NiT's can be predicted from the previous years for NiT's is mentioned below.

Jee main 2018 cutoff - 

Common rank list - max marks : 350 min marks : 74

Obc - max marks : 73 min marks : 45

St - max marks : 73 min marks : 29

Sc - max marks : 73 min marks : 24

Well! Average package in any of the branch completely depends upon the skills of the student. As you are concerned about textile branch, placement are going very good in this branch also in NIT Jalandhar.
