what are the after study options for diploma holders in electrical and electronics engineering

Masira 20th Dec, 2019
Hello,

You can opt for courses that will add value to and are accepted in the industry. After diploma in electrical engineering you can get a job directly if you are looking for one but the chances are that they won't pay high salary. You can go for an engineering degree that will make you a graduate in engineering field rather than just a diploma degree holder. A few certificate courses that you can opt for are:
- VLSI systems
- Robotics and Intelligent systems
- CCNA
- Embedded systems
- Power electronics
- Hardware engineering
- Signal processing
- PLC
- SCADA
- Real time operating systems and so on..

You may opt for courses that you are interested in.

Hope this helps, Good luck.

apuroop sri durgesh 15th Dec, 2019

Hello Arun, after doing engineeirng in the stream of ECE(Electronics and Communication Department), you can go for core jobs without the knowledge of coding or you can go for software jobs with the knowledge of basic programming languages like C, Python, etc which are easy to learn. You can apply for PSU's jobs through gate, write IES(Indian Engineering Services) exam and get government jobs. You can continue with M.tech and become a professor or research lab assistant. There are handful of jobs you can go for.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

if I have to choose between mechanical engineering & Electrical and Electronics engineering. whichll be the best???

dandeharitha 16th Dec, 2020

Mechanical and electrical engineering:

As both are the good and most demanding branches among students, also students should choose the one as per their interest and potential. As Electrical engineering is the bridge between computer science and mechanical engineering. ... So if you want to work for your salary but be in high demand, EE is the place.

Electronics and Communication branch has got wider options and easier life compared to Mechanical Engineers. ... Tech then he should choose the branch by his interest and if he is going MBA he may go for ECE as ECE is considered as a tougher branch to get into when compared to Mechanical Engineering.choose wisely.

Thankyou
